The Arguing Bucs won the Western Washington University tournament this weekend. Many students won many awards. Chauncella Koulibali was recognized as the top competitor in the Northwest Forensics Conference over the season. Way to go Whitworth!

The Arguing Bucs won the Lower Columbia College Forensics Tournament this past weekend. Skye Gordon was the top competitor winning the "Shark" Award. Four debaters closed out semifinals in debate. Another strong showing for the team!

The Arguing Bucs won the Linfield College forensics tournament last weekend. It's the first time we have won what is normally the most competitive tournament in the northwest. Jericho Simone '22 won four speech events and won the debate tournament. Argghh!!!

The Arguing Bucs are proud of their sister team the Philosoraptors who took second place at the Northwest Regional Ethics Bowl yesterday! This qualifies the team for Ethics Bowl nationals in the spring. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the @ArguingBucs forensics team for taking FIRST PLACE in the Pacific University tourney this weekend, defeating 17 other schools including Arizona State, Mississippi State, and U of Alaska, among others. Way to go! #GoBucs 🏴‍☠️

Congratulations to the @Whitworth University Forensics Team. They won the speech tournament against 12 other schools and then took third place in the debate tournament last weekend in Louisiana. The Arguing Bucs won the overall tournament sweepstakes out of 28 schools. Great job!

We enjoyed hosting 12 other teams on our beautiful campus this past weekend for the Jim McPherson Invitational! The Arguing Bucs had a great showing, including a closing out semifinals in open IPDA, all 6 of the top placings in ADS, and Tucker Wilson ‘20 winning the pentathlon.

Congrats to Whitworth's forensics team @ArguingBucs for its second place finish at the Lewis & Clark tournament. The team placed second overall out of 28 schools from six states and defeated rivals such as L&C, University of Minnesota, and University of Oregon. #GoBucs
