@WyattFoxface @GBlackmuzzle What the fox says. Handler is best because they can identify hazards you can’t see, answer questions, and generally just watch out for you. Being familiar with the location also helps a lot, or at least a quick recon when you arrive.

@MudFlappy @WyattFoxface As cat I am not self-conscious, other than knowing I am cat. Cat is confident and outgoing and expressive and comfortable with crowds and strangers. Which is quite the opposite in every way to the human.

@WyattFoxface This is exactly my experience as well. I’m typically out about once a week and knee-level tackle hugs happen every day. Interactions with kids are just the sweetest & most beautiful. Parents tell me encounters with big ole cat makes their day & thank me. People irl are wonderful.
