The success in a persons football career is based on what they are willing to do and sacrifice in order to play this amazing sport. 
For the majority of my senior season I unknowingly played with mononucleosis. We knew I was sick, the symptoms were severe. I went to the doctors a few times before they caught it and the test came back positive. The extreme fatigue was almost unbearable, the swelling of my spleen and liver made eating almost impossible, I was vomiting mucus regularly, my throat was sore and raw and every muscle was sore and it was hard to think straight. 
Quitting, for me, was not an option. I wanted to continue to play for my team and have no regrets for my senior season.

I may have not gotten the results I wanted but I’ve shown what I am willing to do to play with my brothers. I am extremely honored to say that I still was able earn an honorable mention for the Base Line league as an offensive tackle. 
I would like to thank my coaches, teammates , and family for helping me through what felt like the toughest season of my life.
