At this moment, as we mark Yom HaShoah — Holocaust Remembrance Day — it is more important than ever that we state loudly and clearly: the Holocaust happened, and we must never forget.

ABC News has now fully taken down the old 538 archives, including all interactive projects since 2014. Aside from erasing history this prevents access to publicly released data, including polls/models and all story data. Totally unacceptable and a real betrayal of the public

Both Palestinians and Israelis will eventually have to abandon some of their respective dreams (and hallucinations).
One of them is the Jewish misconception that Palestinians can be persuaded to go away.
Another is that Zionism is a removeable, a sort of cut-and-paste sticker.
The Palestinians’ Western supporters do them no favor by insisting that Zionism is a colonialist creature, fleeting and ephemeral, a short-term mirage.
The Zionist idea is real, viable, and capable of peaceful coexistence. In four or five generations it has built a Hebrew culture and social bonds so solid and gratifying, that we deem them worth living and dying for.
Both peoples are here to stay.
