If you weren't there for the dark ages of:
• Chris Duhon
• Howard Eisley
• Glen Rice
• Shandon Anderson
• Clarence Weatherspoon
• Malik Rose
• Jared Jeffries
• Renaldo Balkman
Then today’s success doesn’t mean as much to you. We really survived the shit of the shit.
Ben Gvir is a national embarrassment. Time and again, he’s behaved recklessly, inflamed tensions, and disgraced the State of Israel. He does not reflect the values of most Israelis. Fire him.
To all those in my new political party who don’t have a problem with, or are indifferent, to the growing antisemitism in the Democratic Party: You’d all have a big fucking problem with growing racism in the Democratic Party. Right? And you know what? There is ZERO difference between antisemitism and racism. Both are hateful. Both are based on ugly prejudices. Both are rooted in bigotry. Antisemitism and racism are one and the same. So if you wouldn’t support a racist running for public office, you shouldn’t support an antisemite.
Activists protested outside a synagogue, chanting, “Say it loud, say it clear, we support Hamas here.”
Whatever the amnesia surrounding 10/7, the truth must never be forgotten: Hamas murdered, maimed, mutilated, raped, and tortured thousands of innocent Israelis. It is—and has always been—a barbaric oppressor of its own people.
Support for Hamas is not an expression of empathy for Palestinians; it is an expression of antipathy toward Jews and Israelis. Hate has no place in NYC.
This is utterly sickening.
While the right to protest in America is sacrosanct, I will never turn a blind eye to this sort of extremism. Hamas is designated as Foreign Terrorist Organization for very good reasons.
Aggressive agitators were protesting Park East Side synagogue, chanting the word “Intifada.” The Second Intifada refers to a campaign of terror that left more than a thousand Israeli civilians and children dead. The deliberate invocation of “Intifada”—especially in a post–October 7 world—is an unmistakable incitement to violence against Jews.
Critiquing the policies of a government is one thing. Targeting a Jewish institution simply for being Jewish is something else entirely. The targeting of a synagogue is not criticism; it’s extremism. It’s not demonstration; it’s discrimination.
“When Bar comes home, I will stand.”
Bar Kupershtein’s father, standing to embrace his son in a long-awaited family photo.
After a stroke from an accident left him in a wheelchair, he promised he would fight for Bar—and he did. He relearned to speak so he could call his son’s name at Hostages Square while Bar was captive. And now he stands, able to hug his son with all his height and love.
A true hero ❤️
Thanks to the 913 fallen soldiers, heroes who gave their lives for this country.
Thanks to the 6,318 brave soldiers who were injured fighting to bring our people back.
Thanks to the hostage families and former hostages who fought like lions and never gave up.
Thanks to the hundreds of broken families who sacrificed so much in this dreadful war.
Because of you, the hostages are coming home. Thank you 💜
Political violence is evil and indefensible. It's a cancer that will feed off itself and spread. Charlie Kirk is a human being with a family. Harming him or anyone else for their political views is disgusting and will rip this country apart and hurt everyone.
I am a huge Thibs fan. And will be forever grateful for bringing us the best three seasons of Knicks basketball in 25 years. Sad to see him go. Thank you Thibs.
BREAKING: The New York Knicks are relieving Tom Thibodeau of his duties as head coach, sources tell ESPN. Thibodeau led the Knicks to their first East Finals in 25 years, made playoffs in 4 of 5 years and led Knicks to consecutive 50+ win seasons for first time since the 1990s.
I am a Tom Thibodeau fan. He brought this team back. I felt he gave every bit of himself and was always looking to improve. I will always be grateful for how far he brought the Knicks. They are relevant again. They are championship contenders again. The Knicks became winners again with him.
Thank you COACH THIBS.
As the American Jewish community continues to reel from the horrific antisemitic murders in Washington, D.C., it is unfathomable that the Jewish community is facing another terror attack here in Boulder, on the eve of the holiday of Shavuot no less. Several individuals were brutally attacked while peacefully marching to draw attention to the plight of the hostages who have been held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza for 604 days. I condemn this vicious act of terrorism, and pray for the recovery of the victims.
Without a doubt my favorite moment in tonight’s @nyknicks win was John Starks jumping out of his seat to point to a Pacers player stepping on the baseline. Knicks blood runs deep. #nyknicks
