I don’t really believe in apologies for real. You have to allow ppl to feel how they feel. If they want to resolve it they will. Speak your peace & go back to your life. The end
I just think it’s odd to expect someone to talk things out with you without a little hesitation when you’re literally calling them pussy for doing the same thing with someone else. It’s not rocket science, cardi apologized. If anything she should just give it time
& it's also okay to say that sometimes when you've done people a way they don't have to make amends, despite u being genuine in your apology. that's okay too. & she clearly doesn't wanna make up! But this was ... mature of u.
I truly understand how you feel…and that’s exactly why I chose to apologize publicly because the disrespect became public. On that call I didn’t even mean to call you that, I didn’t mean any harm.. There’s a difference in what I said vs what I meant. What I could have said was you was too forgiving and gave too much mercy in that situation.. But it was a heated conversation and I let my mouth get the best of me. When the call came out I was eight months pregnant, had just released my album, and was extremely overwhelmed and emotional. Thats not to excuse what I said but to let you know where I was in my head. I genuinely felt bad about what happened. In 2025 and 2026 I made multiple attempts to connect…I spoke with your manager, your sister, and even texted you directly to take full responsibility. I always had love and respect for you ! I always wanted to make it right but making it right looks different for the both of us… I wanted to connect with you but you wanted to address it on your album
@so14below I haven’t watched her BC interview but i don’t think she’s as open as she claims lol. She’s a bit flip floppy in that area bc she deffff would’ve texted her back if she was open 😭 it’s okay to be like “no that’s dead & I’m gonna talk abt it in my music” LOL

@ulxma Death makes ppl want to believe that the deceased are blameless bc they met their own mortality in sad ways. I think Goldlink was he just processing out loud & complex grief is off-putting to most. Ppl don’t want to hear abt complexity in the thick of grieving their idols.
Tbh this wasn’t even that bad. The only thing he did wrong was process complex emotions loudly and publicly. People don’t like complex emotions. Especially in moments when you’re only allowed to swing one way. Sounds like he was feeling a mixture of guilt, despair, confusion, shock, but also appreciation and respect for him as an artist and a person. He was being overly honest about their tumultuous relationship and people don’t want to hear that when someone they love just died. To be cancelled over this was uhmm.
Homophobia is only dropped publicly by CERTAIN rich folks when it has a chance of interfering with their money (influencers etc). It says nothing about their politics and what they actually value outside of money. & that’s not heroic or to be applauded.
