Sure, I’m a reader, but that doesn’t mean I actually read all the time. Sometimes I go months without touching a book, and other times I will finish a book in one sitting.
People call faith a gamble.
But I'd argue the bigger gamble is living as though God doesn't exist.
I'd rather spend my whole life worshipping Jesus and find out I was right...
than reject Him and realize too late that I wasn't.
Think about that.
If you opened IG and saw a reel from your Pastor and the reel song was say Asake or Mavo, you'd be shocked abi? No wam
But you make reels using the same set of songs and you're fine.
You expect some level of consecration from your Pastors but you think you're exempted from displaying same level consecration.
If you expect that level of consecration from your Pastors, it also applies to you.
Unpopular opinion:
Reading the Bible from an app is convenient, but opening a physical Bible just hits different.
The pages. The notes. The highlights. The quiet moments with God.
It feels like an experience, not just reading.
Anyone else feel the same?
I’m not trying to be controversial, but if we're demanding civic responsibility from religious leaders, it shouldn't be limited to or reserved for a single religion.
