This culture and normalization of extreme thinness in Korea need to END URGENTLY.
No one has the right to comment on someone else’s body. And that applies to you too. Because I highly doubt that the same people who love criticizing and giving their opinions about other people’s bodies would accept someone doing exactly the same thing to them.
You’ve already gotten what you wanted. You’re making him lose weight and lose the muscle mass he dreamed of having and worked so hard to build, so he could have the body that HE wanted.
HIS BODY. NOT YOURS.
Stop acting like you have any right over other people’s bodies. Stop thinking you’re “slaying” by criticizing someone’s appearance, as if someone else’s body were your property.
And just because Sunghoon is an idol, that doesn’t mean you have the right to interfere in his life, tell him what he should or shouldn’t do, or decide what his body should look like. And this applies to every idol in the industry.
THEY ARE NOT MANNEQUINS.
THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS.
They have feelings, dreams, desires, and they also have the right to decide how they want to live and what they want their own bodies to look like.
Y’all should start thinking about the weight of your own words and feel bad when you realize that someone’s heading toward extreme thinness because of the pressure you helped create.
Sunghoon was happy with the body he was building. He was building muscle, achieving something he wanted for himself, and working hard to have the body he desired.
And yet, you managed to turn muscle into “fat” and started calling him fat simply because he was gaining muscle mass.
They are not mannequins, they are human beings. So stop acting like you have any right over them just because they’re idols. Idols have feelings, dreams, and desires too.
And I think you should start feeling guilty and feel bad knowing that someone’s heading toward extreme thinness because of you. Someone who was happy with the body he was building and had to put that aside simply because, according to the idiots who can’t tell the difference between fat and muscle mass, he was being called fat simply for gaining muscle.
Sunghoon’s body is not your property. So please, LEAVE SUNGHOON ALONE.
this whole thing reminded me that some of u genuinely believe heeseung had it easy, acting like he didn’t go through the most traumatic and dehumanising experience and that’s not mentioning the hatetrain that lasted MONTHS with 50K likes on each tweet treating him like a criminal
sunoo saying that sunghoon doesn't talk about eating as much as he used to and that he doesn't think he's eating much lately... i'm definitely going to blame k-engenes for their horrible comments about his body and weight. you all need to stop projecting your fcking insecurities onto people who are happy with their bodies, you are a miserable person
dropping a new banner with heavy sexualization in hopes that they can bury whatever happened for the last 3 months under the rug and move on 😷 this company never fails to disgust me
Thank you to both ENHYPEN and EVAN for the past incredible 6 years.
No matter whether together or apart, as ENGENE or EVER, being able to watch you grow and develop into the artists you are today has been so amazing. Here’s to you many more years of growth, memories, and success.
It's absolutely insane that BELIFT didn't address the Mina situation.
No condolences, no message, no donation to charities against Cyberbullying just silence.
All love to ENHYPEN and true fans but this company is absolutely nuts.
what about the boy who was constantly working hard to lead the teams there ... what about the boy who cried for not being good enough as leader ... what about the boy for whom whole iland was built ????
is belift crazy to completely erase heeseung where he put all his efforts :(
evan wrote everything ever wrote back to them 🥺 i love him sm
🦌 you too are my strength, dream, light, flower, star, life, happiness, luck, laughter, joy, miracle, blessing, fading, love, excitement, sincerity, everything, destiny, life, daily life, tides, eternity, youth, peace, faith, hope, hope, hope, hope, hope, heart, stability, angel, fairy, reason, courage, eternity, treasure, prince, umbrella, four seasons, spring, universe, sun, oxygen, forest, vitamin, adrenaline!
im genuinely crying he's all that to us 🤧
🦌 “According to the direction the company suggested.”
🦌 “We have to convince the public that it was his own decision.”
🦌 “The process of going solo involves so many people.”
After hearing all of this, how can you still believe everything was simply his own decision?
supporting heeseung and enhypen as they are now is honestly so easy when you don’t project the actions of their fans onto them. i’m here for the music, the art and because i genuinely love them. you realise fanwars are pointless when so many people argue simply for the sake of it
gliddy’s story is literally heeseung’s story im sobbing so hard right now 😭😭😭
💬: i was just an ordinary ten-year-old boy, when, without warning, an illness came over me like dark storm clouds
🦌: i had a cancer when i was in fourth grade
💬: for a long time, through the pain, that wouldn’t go away, my body and mind sank deeper and deeper into the darkness
🦌: the treatment process wasn’t easy. I’d watch my friends pass away and kept thinking, “i want to live so badly, i want to go home.”
💬: still, i kept walking through the endless dark, at my own pace, in my own way, step by step, i began to see the light
🦌: the treatment process wasn’t easy, but when i saw how my mom took care of me nonstop, i wanted to put on a brave face for her
💬: the world i returned to was still hazy
🦌: thankfully i made it through treatment and got to go on with my life, but fitting back in with my friends wasn’t easy. i had a lot less energy, and since my hair was still growing back from chemo, i got teased a lot for it
💬: but with music my world gradually began to fill with colors
🦌: i wanted to use the start of my music under the name EVAN to tell people that good days do eventually come around. when i sing on “death of me” the lead single, that this “ain’t the death of me,” it comes from a place of having actually gone right up to the edge of death myself. no matter how far down i went, i felt over and over that it was never really the end. i hope EVER hears that message and finds some hope in it
