Did someone say Enshrined Liquidity? 😎

Initia uses Delegated Proof of Stake as consensus mechanism. The conventional DPoS concept involves staking the native token of the chain. However, Initia has a different approach!

🪢 Chains using the DPoS mechanism may face liquidity issues because a large portion of their native tokens is staked to ensure network security. Moreover, the security level of the network in this case depends solely on the price of the native token, which can be volatile due to the nature of crypto assets.

💫 Thanks to Initia's unique approach to consensus, assets whitelisted by governance decision can be simultaneously available as liquidity and staked as LP tokens that include INIT-X pairs on InitiaDEX. This mechanism is called Enshrined Liquidity.

What exactly does this achieve?

✅ High liquidity on L1, with liquidity transfer to Minitias, being as easy as a single click.
✅ The burden of securing the network does not fall solely on $INIT; approved liquidity pairs also significantly support security.

In short, higher security ➕ higher liquidity.
