@biellimas_ Wow thank you so very much! Its an extremely high praise. Although I'd say the model and her whole design are gorgeous so I think that adds to it :3
@TheMrDinko Eh its not really disregarding, its more accepting that its... okay? I guess๐ TV and book mediums are very different. So what works for one does not necessarily work for the other. As long as the changes make sense, done well, and go in line with the lore, I am fine with them.
@Nixmori Yeah Pathfinder has a too much stuff to list here. But it can definitely scratch that story-driven, customizable rpg experience itch you might have after you finish DOS2 and till you wait for BG3. (the character models are atrocious though but it is what it is ๐)
@Nixmori I'd say its probably because DOS2 was initially sought out by mechanics lovers, as you see by the amount of articles/websites on different builds. Bioware crowd came later when they realized the game actually had a cool story and fun companions, limited as they are.
@Nixmori Oh they did? I'd be annoyed too. But the game itself is cool, I like the companions, and really enjoy playing a Dhampir. Not to mention the crazy variety of classes.
I can't wait for BG3, its painful, but I've replayed DOS2 like 5 times by now, so the novelty is wearing off ๐
@Nixmori I am kinda the same. I didn't care about Star Wars initially because I'm not from the US, so it was never part of my culture growing up. I bought KOTOR only because it was Bioware, and went in completely blind SW-wise, and then fell in love with their universe because of it.
@Nixmori Gosh Baldurs Gate are my all time favorite games. Iโm so glad Larian got the license. And you should seriously give kotor a go! Itโs amazing. And KOTOR2 as well if you havenโt. Itโs obsidian and as all obsidian games it will rip your heart out.
@Nixmori Yeah I mostly agree. I donโt know if itโs because people working on it just got tired of everything. Because people are the same but the magic and charm of their older works in gone.
@Nixmori Its not really the fetch quests that bother me I think. Its more that i find it lacking a soul. Everything in there is pristine, like all current media, its too polished. I also didnt care much for companions. I felt like they were written by young adult novelists.
@Nixmori Pt2. I try to sort of forget it exists when playing, or gloss over it mentally. But cant even imagine how hard it hits people who experienced a loss that close in real life. I am very sorry.
@Nixmori Yeah that is one thing I wish they kept as originally planned. Mom was supposed to be savable, but they chose otherwise for cheap emotional impact. The story was already heavy as is, let Hawke at least have that little comfort.
@Nixmori Understandable, its very different to normal Bioware stuff, both in story and character. I liked that they took a plunge to the dark side, but can understand its not everyone's cup of tea. Hawke was awesome, I wish they were kept as DAI protagonist.
