God made men and women as equals. Men are not to rule and dominate women. They are in a partnership with each other. They have different roles, but are equals. Women dressing as they want, showing their faces and hair, making their own life decisions, marrying who they want to and when they want to, choosing their career path, etc. Men and women as equals balances society! Boys growing up in a balanced society treat girls and women with respect. They grow up knowing girls and women have every right and opportunity as them.
@StallionCornell I was 16 and dancing in the Rose Bowl! Great fun! I donβt remember you Jim and your field antics . In that video I saw my group running down the stairs in the purple and yellow polka dance costumes.
What I understand is that when the anti christ is out in full swing, all Christian churches will be closed for about 3 years. We wonβt be able to communicate with nor receive communication from our church leaders (Prophet, apostles, etc). We need to be able to strengthen our families through home church and study.
And how do you account for Mexico, Central America and South America? My ex husband is from Mexico and his parents have very little education yet they have been strong, faithful members for many years. My husband now is from Peru. The church has grown steadily for years there. Lima now has 7 missions. So many people in Africa are having dreams and are witnessing miracles. Talk with returned missionaries from African countries. They will tell you amazing stories. The Gospel is blessing them in countless ways.
@ldsabuse@hankrsmith They are humble people. You should hear the stories of the converts there. So many have had dreams and visions and have witnessed countless miracles.
I was there two days ago. The visitor center wasnβt crowded. If you can go on a week day, that would be ideal. We were able to get in the βstand-byβ line for the permanent temple open house tour. We only had to wait about 10 minutes. The spirit throughout the visitor center was very strong. All the scaffolding around the temple is gone, but there is a fence around the temple and construction work is still going on. But still, the grounds are beautiful! Be sure to visit the church history museum.
