Concacaf, the confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean, says it rejects FIFA’s plans to sell stakes in the World Cup to private investors.
All 41 members of Concacaf met on Thursday to discuss the proposals.
One source with knowledge of the meeting, speaking on the condition of anonymity to protect relationships, said the feeling and discussion expressed among the vast majority of Concacaf members was that they are losing confidence, or have lost confidence altogether in Gianni Infantino as FIFA President.
A second person considered that to be a slightly stronger description of the meeting than they took away from it, but acknowledged widespread concerns over the current FIFA approach to leadership and transparency.

Real Madrid fans spent the entire World Cup celebrating their players’ individual MOTM awards, 8+ MOTM awards for them.
Barça fans are celebrating 8 of their players becoming WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS.
That is the difference between celebrating individualistic players and celebrating a team… Barça and La Masia have won another World Cup. More than a club for a reason. 💙❤️
Leo, Thank you.
The greatest ever player in the history of football. He’s completed the sport like nobody ever has.
Troll him all you want for today, but your “GOAT” isn’t even near Messi’s level.
