New from me:
Project 2025 is the most dangerous agenda in American politics.
It poses unprecedented risks to democracy itself if implemented, and make no mistake about it: this is Donald Trump’s plan.

Well, fuck.
And Diesel is already over $6 a gallon.
Trump reportedly declined to help the Saudis clear the strait, too.
Gonna get real stupid if the Saudis aren’t able to dislodge the Houthis.
But I was reliably informed that Donald Trump completely decimated the Houthis. Just like he completely decimated Iran!!!
How could they have seized US-made vehicles and weapons and taken control of Bab al-Mandab?
I hope folks realize this Bab al-Mandab situation will be much worse than the Strait of Hormuz if it’s not sorted out quickly.
And it doesn’t currently look like it will be sorted out quickly.
Let’s put it like this:
The Strait of Hormuz isn’t a single-point of failure for the US / global economy. It hurts, but we have shock absorbers.
If they shut down Bab el-Mandab, too, global economy can’t absorb that + the Strait of Hormuz.
I hope everyone is paying attention to Yemen.
If the Houthis are able to hold Mokha and significantly impede Bab al-Mandab, this gets really, really bad.
This could be the most Frank Luntz tweet of all time.
Yes, we’ll just turn off… all of the computers. All our autonomous defense systems. All our financial systems. The global economy.
That probably wouldn’t hurt anything, right?
Two people were killed outside a Tucson gay bar in a homophobic attack, and bigots still say we’re playing the victim in 2026 because no one is hurting gay people
🟥 BREAKING: Trump just told a room of 9/11 families that two firefighters grabbed him under the arms and ran him out of the rubble.
He's on tape. Four miles away in Midtown. On the phone.
Invoke the 25th. Now.
There are more than one million Muslim New Yorkers. They are just as much a part of the fabric of this city as anyone else.
Anyone demanding that the Mayor not attend a day of solemn remembrance because of his faith is motivated by anti-Muslim bigotry.
September 11th is a day of remembrance and unity. It’s time we act accordingly.
