@bschermd How to address the high LDL, normal triglycerides and HDL? Doc says it’s extremely risky and reason for heart issues and advised to take statin. What else to test? CRP is moderate at 2.2, hba1c 5.2, only the ldl is 200+.
@dlifein@send2aich Can you please do a similar visual post on why elevated LDL occurs on keto/carnivore while hdl/triglycerides are normal and how to lower safely? Thx!
@matthewbaszucki@janellison Great dedication! Please explain how to work with compounding pharmacies to taper safely, with names and if insurance works with them.
@matthewbaszucki@CapitalistFraud Isnt 2.5 mg lowest dosage for Zyprexa/Olazapine? 1.5 is easily available or do you get from a special compounding pharmacy? Please continue to share details on how you successfully tapered till when you think you are ready to stop and post stopping too. Your posts are inspiring!
@CapitalistFraud@matthewbaszucki What med is remaining? Very hard to stop ( even if carnivorre diet) all meds, without withdrawal rebound psychosis, please share to help understand what last med is still taken.
@matthewbaszucki But many carnivores are saying they added back carbs as thyroid is impacting with low energy levels. Can severely low energy and fatigue happen with bipolar + keto+ olazapine?
@matthewbaszucki Do you not take Olazapine anymore? How did you successfully stop taking it
because it’s withdrawal = immediate rebound psychosis, even if doing strict keto.
@matthewbaszucki Can you please share which med you are on still? Even with ketovore, Olazapine is such a nightmare to continue taking lowest 2.5 mg, with unending fatigue and drowsiness and emo blunting , while slowly stopping is also equally dangerous with withdrawal and rebound psychosis!
@matthewbaszucki@KetoCounselor Thanks for sharing your journey! Can you please do a detailed post on how you tapered and then successfully stopped the Olazapine as even slow stopping causes severe rebound psychosis with withdrawal for many who tried.
@matthewbaszucki Can you please share what almost ‘got off all meds’ means? Is possible withdrawal the reason to stay on lower dosages? Withdrawal is just awful, so the question. Thx!
@matthewbaszucki@KetoCounselor Thx for sharing your success story! Were you successfully able to stop all medication(s) ? Please share about meds withdrawal journey which is the most difficult.
@ChrisPalmerMD@Duke_Dickinson@DrNeilStone Wonder how they (successfully) completely stopped such powerful antipsychotics , as stopping or even careful tapering causes rapid severe withdrawal and quick relapse of psychosis which so common, ending up in hospitalization and higher dosages (even if ketovore)!
@tferriss So he 💯 stopped taking the antipsychotic meds /mood stabilizers after realizing that keto helped? That’s the most burning question, as can ONLY strict keto/carnivore fully solve the bipolar dx or is it still sadly a combo of diet+ chemical meds only ?
