Ayat 2:286
Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord & lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord & burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us & forgive us & have mercy upon us.

اے ہمارے رب! اور ہم پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈال جس کی ہم میں طاقت نہیں۔

And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah . Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help

Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord

Whoever comes with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged.

القرآن - سورۃ القصص: 84

مَنۡ جَآءَ بِالۡحَسَنَةِ فَلَهٗ خَيۡرٌ مِّنۡهَا‌ ۚ وَمَنۡ جَآءَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ فَلَا يُجۡزَى الَّذِيۡنَ عَمِلُوا السَّيِّاٰتِ اِلَّا مَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ۞

"جو کوئی بھَلائی لے کر آئے گا اس کے لیے اس سے بہتر بھَلائی ہے، اور جو بُرائی لے کر آئے تو بُرائیاں کرنے والوں کو ویسا ہی بدلہ ملے گا جیسے عمل وہ کرتے تھے۔"

اللہ تعالیٰ اس آیت میں فرما رہا ہے کہ جو شخص نیکی اور ایمان کے ساتھ اللہ کے حضور حاضر ہوگا، اسے اس کی نیکی سے بڑھ کر اجر عطا کیا جائے گا، جبکہ جو شخص برائی لے کر آئے گا، اسے صرف اتنی ہی سزا دی جائے گی جتنی برائی اس نے کی ہوگی۔

[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -

وَاِذَا سَمِعُوا اللَّغۡوَ اَعۡرَضُوۡا عَنۡهُ وَقَالُوۡا لَنَاۤ اَعۡمَالُنَا وَلَـكُمۡ اَعۡمَالُـكُمۡ سَلٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَا نَبۡتَغِى الۡجٰهِلِيۡنَ ۞

"اور جب انہوں نے بیہودہ بات سُنی تو یہ کہہ کر اُس سے کنارہ کش ہوگئے کہ ”ہمارے اعمال ہمارے لیے اور تمہارے اعمال تمہارے لیے، تم کو سلام ہے، ہم جاہلوں کا سا طریقہ اختیار کرنا نہیں چاہتے۔"

اس آیت میں اللہ تعالیٰ اہلِ ایمان کی ایک نمایاں خوبی بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ جب وہ فضول، بے ہودہ اور جاہلانہ باتیں سنتے ہیں تو ان میں الجھنے کے بجائے ان سے منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں۔ وہ جواب میں جھگڑا، گالی گلوچ یا بدتمیزی نہیں کرتے، بلکہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے اعمال ہمارے لیے ہیں اور تمہارے اعمال تمہارے لیے۔ تم پر سلامتی ہو، ہم جاہلوں کے طریقے کو اختیار نہیں کرنا چاہتے۔

اس آیت سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ ایک مومن کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنی زبان اور کردار کو لغو گفتگو، بے مقصد بحث اور بد اخلاقی سے محفوظ رکھے۔ ہر بات کا جواب دینا ضروری نہیں، اور ہر اختلاف میں الجھنا بھی دانش مندی نہیں۔ بعض اوقات خاموشی اور باوقار انداز میں الگ ہو جانا ہی بہترین جواب ہوتا ہے۔ یہی اہلِ ایمان کا اخلاق ہے کہ وہ برائی کا جواب برائی سے نہیں دیتے بلکہ اپنے کردار کی حفاظت کرتے ہیں۔

His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is
