If there is one thing Imran Khan has always loved it is HYPE. If there is one thing that defines PTI's politics it is HYPE. If there is one thing the Establishment has tried to take away from both the PTI and Imran it is HYPE. Today as he moves out of jail and to Shifa Hospital there is total HYPE. Domestic HYPE. International HYPE. Imran is a subject that refuses to go away. He is a news cycle that continues to unfold.
With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.
Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days!

A Pakistani artist waving an Indian flag handed to him by a fan primarily shows his respect for the fans. With India specifically, it reflects respect for our shared culture, language, and music. It is, in fact, the best response to the hate routinely spewed by the BJP and Bollywood. @talhahanjum exposed all the testosterone-driven artists in India who wear their patriotism on their sleeves to curry favour under the BJP. It was a very G thing to do.
It also shows how comfortable the artist is in his own skin and, because he is representing Pakistan, it reflects positively on the entire fraternity. Serving the artist a legal notice or berating him on a talk show looks cheap, shows a desperation for a viral moment, and is indicative of cultural impoverishment.
She did nikkah, not zina. She loved, she chose, and they killed her for it. These men think love is a crime but murder is “honor”? I hope they never have daughters. We know what they’d do to them.
Strongly condemn the Supreme Court decision to allow civilian trials in military courts. Last night we faced an external threat from a foreign enemy. This morning we have been exposed to an internal threat to our democracy and freedom by our own Supreme Court. The Supreme Court today has surrendered our fundamental right to due process and fair trial. While we stand with our armed forces to protect our borders, we in the midst of this crisis and wartime hysteria must not lose sight of the very Constitutional rights and freedoms which we are fighting to protect. Be it the 26th Amendment, military courts, enforced disappearances, building canals on the Indus or stealing the elections we must continue to resist. Freedom and sovereignty are there to ensure a life of dignity for citizens where their rights have sanctity. If citizens are robbed of that dignity and rights then we are fighting only to save a territory not a way of life.
Instead of presenting viable alternatives to the crisis, liberals are obsessed with stopping the potential rise of right-wing movements. This negative attitude has pushed them to make alliance with the Deep State. Degeneration of Pakistani liberalism is part of this global trend.
AM Karachi condemns the violence against PTI protestors in Islamabad. The escalation in threats by the state against the right to protest is not only unconstitutional but also sets a dangerous precedent for curbing civil liberties and threatens all people's collective freedom.
