পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের আয়োজিত 'হুল দিবস' উদযাপন অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত হতে আজ বাঁকুড়া জেলায় উপস্থিত হয়েছিলাম।

ব্রিটিশ শাসনেকালের অত্যাচার, শোষণ
ও অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে ১৮৫৫ সালের ৩০ জুন সিধু মুর্মু ও কানু মুর্মুর নেতৃত্বে হাজার হাজার জনজাতি মূলবাসীর ঐতিহাসিক সশস্ত্র গণঅভ্যুত্থান 'হুল বিদ্রোহ' ভারতীয় স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামের এক গৌরবোজ্জ্বল অধ্যায়। সেই আত্মত্যাগ ও সংগ্রামের স্মৃতিকে শ্রদ্ধার সঙ্গে স্মরণ করে প্রতিবছর ৩০ জুন 'হুল দিবস' পালন করা হয়।

আজকের এই পবিত্র দিনে সিধু মুর্মু ও কানু মুর্মুর মর্মর মূর্তি উন্মোচন করে মাল্যদান ও শ্রদ্ধা জ্ঞাপন করে মুকুটমণিপুরের একলব্য মডেল আবাসিক বিদ্যালয়ের মাঠে উপস্থিত হয়ে 'হুল বিদ্রোহের' বীর শহিদ ও স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামীদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি নিবেদন করলাম।

এদিন এলাকার আদিবাসী সমাজের গুণীজন, শিল্পী, সাহিত্যিক, নাট্যকার এবং বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে কৃতিত্ব অর্জনকারী বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের সম্মাননা প্রদান ও মনোজ্ঞ সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পেরে আমি অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত।
উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে আমার সাথে উপস্থিত ছিলেন আদিবাসী কল্যাণ মন্ত্রী শ্রী ক্ষুদিরাম টুডু, বন ও পরিবেশ দপ্তরের প্রতিমন্ত্রী শ্রী দিবাকর ঘরামি, সাংসদ শ্রী সৌমিত্র খাঁ ও শ্রী জ্যোতির্ময় সিং মাহাতো, একাধিক বিধায়কগণ ও প্রশাসনিক আধিকারিকরা।

হুলের চেতনা আমাদের অন্যায়ের বিরুদ্ধে সংগ্রাম, আত্মমর্যাদা ও অধিকার রক্ষার প্রেরণা জোগাক। পরিশেষে, 'হুল দিবস' উপলক্ষে সকলকে জানাই আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা ও হুল জোহার।

Listened to a highly inspiring and thought-provoking 135th episode of #MannKiBaat addressed by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji today.
Once again, Hon'ble PM has beautifully highlighted the extraordinary efforts of our grassroots champions, innovators and ordinary citizens who are silently driving positive change across the nation. His words not only celebrate our rich cultural heritage and collective achievements, but also ignite a profound sense of 'Jan Bhagidari' (people's participation) in building a strong, self-reliant and Viksit Bharat.
Recalling his recent visit to Kolkata, Hon'ble PM mentioned that INS Dunagiri, INS Sanshodhak & INS Agray which were inducted into the Indian Navy's fleet, from the design to the manufacturing of these Ships everything is indigenous.
He informed that India also achieved a major success in the aviation sector recently when the ‘Made in India’ C-295 Aircraft has completed its maiden flight and 40 such Aircrafts are being manufactured right here in India.
