Osun: When the People Stand, Democracy Wins
I warmly congratulate Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election and the good people of Osun State on this important democratic victory. They - Osun people - have spoken with courage and clarity, reaffirming that the power to choose their leaders belongs to the people. Through his commitment to the people, compassion for their needs, and the strength of his work and achievements in office, Governor @AAdeleke_01 has earned their renewed confidence and been entrusted once again with their mandate.
I particularly commend the courageous youths of Osun who rose to the occasion and peacefully defended their democratic mandate. Their vigilance and determination demonstrate that when citizens stand firmly to protect their votes, the forces of good can overcome the forces of darkness.
The lesson from Osun is clear: democracy is strongest when citizens are alert, conscious of their civic responsibility, and determined to ensure that their votes count. Every genuine vote must be respected, and every lawful mandate must be protected.
This is also a clarion call as we approach 2027. Nigerians must remain informed, participate actively, vote, and protect their votes. The Nigerian people are the ones experiencing hunger, deprivation, insecurity, and hardship; therefore, they are also the ones with the power, through their votes, to bring about the change that will end these conditions.
I urge all political actors to place the interests of the people above partisan considerations and to embrace peace, unity, and the rule of law. Elections should never be battles of violence, but contests of ideas, competence, character, and service.
May the Osun experience strengthen our confidence in the democratic process and inspire Nigerians everywhere to remain vigilant and committed to building a just, secure, prosperous, and truly people-centred nation.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
I just did an average of what X has paid me per month since October of last year.
All I can say is thank you to you all for engaging with my posts and thank God.
The type of job that I do will really not allow me to have a side hustle and be able to effectively mange it.
But being on X is far easier.
Because I can just post something in under 5 minutes and it'll generate money.
No physical office, no staff, no hindrances at all.
Every post generates money including this one that you're reading right now.
It's amazing because when I started this page, it was not my intention to make money from it.
But I said let me try it and now it can comfortably pay my bills without me even touching my salary that much.
Honestly, our Naira has really lost value.
Imagine making millions of naira each month and you still cannot even call yourself rich.
Na just to dey manage and keeping the mind and soul happy.
Thank you all, again 🙏.
Anyways, I figured it out.
I was quite busy this week so I couldn't go out or order anything online.
I sent 500k to her as a gift.
And promised to give her half of what X pays me today.
I do well? 😂
You measure success by one award. I measure it by sold-out arenas, billions of streams, global influence, and people singing my songs across continents.
You had government backing and still couldn't convince enough people to back you in your small constituency..
You’re a small boy who came into politics by accident..
You spent 8yrs with the ex president and couldn’t make a change in your poverty stricken community..
We all have different trophies Bashir, I’ll keep inspiring the young ones and generations to come while you wait for the next government job to get crumbs.
for top holders who have bought outside of the platform, you can still claim your rewards by importing your wallet and claiming on the rewards page.

This morning, my kids were playing with me on the bed.
Then my wife called my daughter to come help her in the kitchen.
The following conversation took place:
Daughter: Daddy, why isn't "her brother's name" coming to join us in the kitchen? He should also learn how to cook.
Me: Yes, he should learn how to cook, but for different reasons.
D: what are the reasons, daddy?
Me: Your brother should learn how to cook so that he can survive when he's on his own as a young man or a bachelor. You should learn how to cook, so that you can survive as a young lady, and be able to cook for your husband and children.
D: But daddy, that's gender stereotyping.
Me: My head is spinning.
Me: What do you mean?
D: I mean, daddy, I must not be the only one who cooks for my husband. I can also earn more money than my husband, so he too should be cooking.
My head just do gbam!
Na so I start lecture ooo.
My wife called her again, but I had to ask her to allow her because I wanted to talk to her.
What started as a simple conversation turned into a 30 minutes lecture time.
I thought she was still very young to understand certain things but I realized this girl is always on YouTube kids watching different girly stuff. And somehow, this internet has a way to feeding them this western ideologies.
So I started from when I met her mother at the university until I married her. I told her that during our dating period, I did not give her mother any money for hair, buy her any phone, or pay any rent for her mother.
I told her that, yes, she should aspire to make her own money, and that even when she gets married and is making money, her money is not meant for her to be a provider for her husband.
I used my wife and myself as examples. I told her that when I married her mother, she was working and earning money, but she stopped working to become a stay-at-home mother and wife.
And that I pay her mother a monthly salary for the job she does.
D: Mommy never told me that you pay her salary.
Me: Yes, she didn't tell you because it's not your business. But I am telling you now so that you understand that even if you see your mother at home every day, it doesn't mean that she's not working.
That it can heppen to her when she gets married. Which is why she must be careful with the type of men she follows or the type of man she would get married to.
I told her that she should never see men and women as equals. That we have different privileges.
I now asked her if she knows what feminism is?
This girl said yes.
Omo I started another round of lecture o.
Feminism is different from femininity. I want you to discard whatever feminism is saying and be a feminine lady.
I married her because her mother is a feminine woman.
I talk tire.
This girl was just looking at me in awe.
I was actually waiting for when she would turn 15/16 before having such conversations with her, but omo, I for gok am.
Later, I had to call her mother privately to tell her that she has more work to do in terms of orientation. She said she does, but it's good that I lectured her, so she will now use it to teach and convince her more, because she always doesn't want to disappoint me, her father.
May my daughter not become the very things I teach against.
End.
