I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new position as Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon at Lincoln County Hospital.
A collaborative, supportive and conscientious team which caters to almost one million patients across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.
In my first two weeks have had the honour of performing 3 Robotic Radical Prostatectomies to treat Prostate Cancer and 3 Robotic Radical Nephrectomies to treat Kidney Cancer.
All patients have had excellent care from the get-go. Rapid referral from the community to be seen by a clinician, efficient diagnostics, discussion in truly multi-disciplinary networks and short waiting lists to the best treatment.
Overall, a real success and I’m grateful to my mentors past and present who have helped me offer world leading care to my patients in Lincolnshire and beyond!
@ULHT_News@NHSLincsICB Another milestone for our robotic program. Case 500 today. Complex right sided radical nephrectomy successfully delivered with RAS by our team. Kudos to the surgeons!
My appeal argues some quite unbelievable things that frankly shouldn’t have to be argued at all (outside a banana republic).
Doctors that say things important in the public interest must be able to trust the legal system

🌟 An excellent week #educational#simulation!
A year of meticulous planning and attention to detail culminated in a successful event.
Special thanks Mamoun, module leads, faculty, delegates, sponsors, and the dedicated @MedEdLeeds team! 🙌📖 @UrologyBootCamp@shekharbiyani
Emergency Departments and Urgent Treatment Centres across the county are under extreme pressure. Only attend our Emergency Departments when it’s just that - an emergency. For anything else you could be in for a significant wait. If unsure, call NHS 111.
Thank you and share 🙏
@ULHT_News@NHSLincsICB Today we celebrate 1 year of robotic surgery! More than 280 patients where so far operated successfully with our Da Vinci Xi robot. For the year to come we aim to improve utilisation vs capacity and repatriate more cancer services!
Another successful East Midlands Urology Society #EMUS22. Thank you to all the excellent talks from @VaibhavModgil @RogerKirby12 @JoCresswell4 @ArisAlev @adamgordon1978. Until next year!
@BAUSurology
@Melih3753@PrimeministerGR This is a valid point. Greece and Turkeie should work together to bypass these restrictions and allow a better partnership on these economic geographical areas, rather than threaten to occupy inhabitated areas
@ULHT_News On 31st June we reached our first milestone. 100 cases since our robotic service took off in mid February. Some of them really complex from both Urology and colorectal. A great 👍 to all the contributors!
The association between obesity and cancer is well established.
An important study of >30,000 people showed that weight loss surgery reduced the chance of developing (any) cancer by 32% at 10 years and reduced the risk of dying from cancer by 48% 👀
