IMPORTANT: The Kuresoi violence is a textbook lesson in political backfiring. If anyone still had doubts about who sponsors and sustains goonism in Kenya, yesterday cleared it up completely.

Seeing rival UDA camps deploy the same rungus-wielding youth against their own colleagues is peak poetic justice.

They built a system of violence to intimidate others, only for that exact system to be turned against them in their own backyard.

This administration is playing a dangerous game. They assume that if they pay a goon, that goon belongs to them forever.

They forget that a rented mob has no true loyalty, only an appetite. The moment the internal power dynamics shift, the weapons they distributed are turned on the very people who bought them.

This toxic culture of weaponizing our youth for political leverage needs to stop immediately. The sponsors of this violence are completely blind to the monsters they are creating.

It's time to demand absolute accountability before this structural lawlessness consumes the entire country.

From my experience of how Nairobi and Mombasa have been managed by county government s, I think it is a high time the @NAssemblyKE and @Senate_KE should think of reverting those 2 cities to the national government the Malaysia way of managing Kuala Lumpur. @citizentvkenya
