How will a TX-only exam differ from the UBE exam that applicants have been studying for? Why should applicants who are without electricity and water be punished with a non-UBE exam that will not be portable in the future? Will these applicants receive a partial refund?

@DiplomaPriv4All @NCBEX @KarenSloanNLJ @JosephPatrice @BLaw @samskolnik This is a fair point. The same health concerns that impacted the late 2020 exams are present in Feb. '21. Subjecting one group of pandemic examinees to a longer exam for the same licensure objective does bring questions.

The NCBE is recommending getting rid of..... every single part of the bar exam. Which is a super weird position to take when just a handful of months ago it was so necessary that people had to risk their lives to take it. 🙃

My guess why az oct bar had such a low passage rate compared to the July bar is that those who were most affected by the pandemic opted for oct. we are one of the few jx who offered an either or option. So this test result really just speaks to privilege. 1/2
