Stand for Children AZ

Our mission is to ensure that all children, regardless of their background, graduate from high school prepared for, and with access to, a college education.

Arizona's future starts with our youngest kids. Investing in early childhood means investing in stronger families, a stronger workforce, and a stronger Arizona. 🌱 #GrowingArizona

📚 Prop 320 may sound straightforward, but its impact on Arizona schools is more complicated.

Learn what the proposition would do, how it could affect school district budgets, and what it means for students, educators, and local schools across Arizona. #Prop320

Child care should not be a luxury. We need to make high-quality child care as universal as possible so that every parent can afford to work and raise their kids.

[Stand for Children AZ @ArizonaStand]

Thank you to @SenRubenGallego for hosting yesterday's town hall and to Sulem and Melisha for sharing their experiences with Arizona's child care crisis.

Their stories highlighted what too many families face every day: child care costs are rising faster than families can keep up.

[Stand for Children AZ @ArizonaStand]

A huge thanks to @SenRubenGallego for hosting this town hall to hear directly from families about how the high cost of child care is impacting their work, lives, and families. 👏

When child care works, Arizona grows. 🌟

Thank you to the child care leaders, parents, and providers who joined me at my town hall yesterday.

Every story in that room came back to the same two problems: child care costs too much, and there aren’t enough spots for the families who need them. We have to do better for Arizona's kids and families.

[Stand for Children AZ @ArizonaStand]

@SenRubenGallego Thank you for your leadership on this issue! 👏

Many Arizona families can’t afford child care. And even when they can, they can’t find a spot.

Join me and child care leaders from across Arizona on Monday, Oct. 19 for a town hall on making child care affordable and easier to find.

When parents can't find child care, they can't get to work. Reliable child care helps businesses hire, retain employees, and keep Arizona's economy moving.

#NationalSchoolLunchWeek reminds us that lunch is a time for connection. 🍎

A great lunch period gives students the chance to fuel their bodies and connect with their peers. That’s one reason we support bell-to-bell phone away all day policies that help students be present
