Understand the scale of the issue. India’s school system has around 18 lakh schools, 24 cr children upto class 12, 1.3 cr faculty and staff, 50% children in govt schools and declining.

Latur, Maharashtra: A case has been registered at the Ausa Police Station against Abhijit Dipke (Chief of the 'Cockroach Janata Party'), party worker Ajinkya Shinde (from Latur), and some unidentified individuals. They are accused of entering the Zilla Parishad Urdu School in Ausa city without permission and disrupting students' academic activities as well as official school operations. The complaint filed with the police states that on August 20, around 1:15 PM, Dipke and his associates entered the school, sat among the students, and asked various questions. It is alleged that this action disrupted both the students' studies and the school's official functioning. Based on a complaint filed by a female teacher, the Ausa Police have registered a case under Sections 132, 329(3), 351(2), 356(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The Ausa Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
