Have decided to post @OGSaffron's tweets as often as I can. They won't be as timely/spontaneous/frequent as OG's, of course. The positivity that he splashed across twitter skies must continue. Each of tweets will be credited.#OGSaffron
Udumbara flowers which is believed to bloom once in 3000 years. Don't miss to this rare spectacle. It gets mentioned in Taitriya Samhita, Mahabharatha and several other Indian scriptures.
@curiosweetie Theory holds, in 'most' cases a good woman is needed to stop any hanky pinky. Men usually see how far it can go, with caution ofcourse. Women also take more burden if anything happens. Daughters should be raised to be self-aware and self-protecting.
@curiosweetie That's cool! In fact, often punjabis (khatris) are known to be business people or in the forces--so punjabi professionals were unique :) but yeah people are surprised to hear many in my grandparents generation were college educated.
@curiosweetie diaspora punjabi families. Education was the ticket, even when they had buisnesses. My grandfather did not go to college, coz he was the eldest but all his brothers were professionals doctors and lawyers. Grandpa retired as the manager of Marks and Spencer anyway.. :)
Nice, thoughtful article. On Internationl Yoga Day, it's worth remembering yoga's Hindu roots & the many animals & birds whose forms and movements inspired its asanas. Sameness is polite. Individuality is brazen. Nature's never been afraid of personality-perhaps neither should we
On Sun-day, Longest Sun-day, Yoga-Sun day, Fathers' Fun-day, reposting my bird-song tribute from yesterday

A patient asked me: "Sir, I often get a sudden violent jerk as if I am falling from the bed right while falling asleep. Why does this happen? Am I having a seizure? I feel it mainly happens when I am under stress."
Americans are obsessed with high school because that's the last time in their lives they feel part of a community.
Life in America as an adult is incredibly atomistic and many end up feeling lost and Lonely
How many creative liberties does it take before a “true events-inspired” story becomes pure propaganda? That’s the question “Raakh” leaves viewers asking!
In just 60 seconds Aarti ji here has taught all of us some very valuable lessons - a true inspiration
She barely went to school, started working at 14, she has now moved to Goa from Gujarat, doing her own small trading business
She has learnt English, French, Russian, Hindi, Konkani (language warriors please note)
Most importantly she say keep believing you will succeed, work towards it, say “well well” (be positive) & keep faith in God

What a loss :( I was addicted to his lectures, his clarity of thought and ability to articulate complex concepts in an understandable manner for lay people was unmatched.
I am so sad at the loss of one of my best friends, Bob Thurman. Attended his moving cremation today.
We met in the mid 1990s when Infinity Foundation started funding Columbia University. So many projects we did together that shaped my journey. Examples:
- Non duality course at Columbia
- Mandala Conference at Woodstock, NY. (We have a major publication)
- Translation of lost Sanskrit texts from Tibetan.
Our families got to know each other. We attended the Tibet House annual galas in NY.
He was a great friend of India.
Both of us spoke in front of the Chinese consulate in NY in support of Tibet.
“Nothing is permanent” as he often reminded us.

Biyolojik ebeveynler bulundu.
• Velayet anlaşması yapıldı: Bebek biyolojik aile de hayatında yer alacak.
Radio stations are shutting down. Radio Nasha (Mum), Radio One (Del, Mum, Beng) and Fever Radio went off air on June 15th.
We have more music than ever before, yet fewer shared listening experiences.
Did technology/streaming apps make music more accessible, or make it more lonely?
What do you think?

Kudos Mumbai & Borivali West in particular for such overwhelming support to Mansukh Kaka - a big thank you to all those who helped
Also kudos to @/storiesbyaradhana on Instagram for not only sharing the info on Kaka but following up and raising funds for him. Truly a great effort
She deserves a follow if you are on IG
Men did not build a world that called women inferior because women were powerless.
They built it because women had forms of power that could not be taken from them cleanly: intuition, social intelligence, sexual selectivity, birth, emotional range, the ability to create life and then organise life around it.
So they made those gifts look unstable. Irrational. Dirty. Dangerous. They turned female instinct into hysteria, female desire into shame, female standards into cruelty, and female creation into duty.
That is how you control what you envy.
You do not have to destroy it. You just convince her to distrust it.
