Sir, your claim that J&K is part of India, because the “Muslim majority” of the then Princely State of J&K chose do to do so,
is blatantly absurd. The one and only person authorized to take that decision was Maharaja Hari Singh. Thankfully, he chose to go with India. Judging by the state of the people in PoJK and Balotistan, the residents of J&K are blessed to be Indians and enjoying full benefits the country has to offer us. We have a popularly elected Government in place, let them do their job, regardless of, if and when Statehood is granted. Kindly refrain from creating more fissures within our communities and think of how the younger generations can secure their future in India.
In a remarkable testament to faith, the holy Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra has crossed the 2 lakh pilgrim mark in just 8 days. With the pilgrimage running smoothly on both the routes, the spiritual celebration is set to welcome a steady arrival of devotees in the coming weeks. Har Har Mahadev!
It was a pleasure to host and interact with Lok Sabha MP, Dr. Shashi Tharoor in Srinagar. Even the shortest exchanges with him are intellectually engaging and a rewarding learning experience.

VIDEO | Bhaderwah, J&K: Thousands of devotees trekked a treacherous terrain to reach ancient hill top Subar Nag temple to participate in the age-old rituals of Nag Baisakhi which symbolises the the arrival of spring season after prolonged harsh winters in Bhaderwah valley.
Located at a height of 12,000 feet above sea level, this 1600 year old temple made from local black granite remains closed for 5 months during winters and on eve of Nag Baisakhi which is celebrated a day before the actual Baisakhi festival, the doors (Kapat) of the ancient place of worship are opened for the devotees.

A proud moment for Bhaderwah as the historic Amar Singh School (est. 1920) - founded during the Dogra period of Maharaja Pratap Singh Ji and named in honour of Raja Amar Singh Ji, enters a new era.
Its transformation from Govt. HSS Boys Bhaderwah into a Heritage School under Project ‘Prerna’ is not merely redevelopment, but a tribute to generations of excellence, discipline, and nation-building. This institution stands as one of the many contributions to education during the Dogra period in Jammu & Kashmir that continues to serve the people, reflecting a vision rooted in progress.
As a descendant of Raja Amar Singh Ji, this moment carries deep pride and emotion - seeing this iconic institution regain its glory. In that spirit, restoring the institution’s original name is also an essential part of preserving its true heritage - perfectly aligned with the vision of Project ‘Prerna’ to celebrate and revive historical legacy in its fullest form.

Socio-Political Analyst Akash Manhas Demands Cluster University for Erstwhile Doda; Reiterates Call for NLU in Chanderbhaga Region
Doda, Jammu & Kashmir – Socio-political analyst Akash Manhas has strongly demanded the establishment of a Cluster University for the erstwhile Doda region comprising the districts of Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban.
Addressing the media, Akash Manhas stated that the students of these three districts have long been deprived of adequate higher education infrastructure. He emphasized that the establishment of a Cluster University would significantly strengthen the higher education framework in the Chanderbhaga region, provide better academic facilities, generate employment opportunities, and boost overall socio-economic development. Such an institution, he said, would reduce student migration and make professional and postgraduate education more accessible to the youth.
Akash Manhas further highlighted that he was the first to raise his voice for the establishment of a National Law University (NLU) in the Chanderbhaga region. At a time when protests are ongoing across Jammu province demanding the establishment of a National Law University, he reiterated that the Chanderbhaga region is the most suitable and centrally accessible location for such a prestigious institution. He asserted that setting up the NLU in this region would ensure balanced regional development and equal educational opportunities for students from remote and hilly districts.
He urged the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to give due consideration to both demands — the Cluster University for Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban, and the establishment of a National Law University in the Chanderbhaga region — in the larger interest of justice, equity, and balanced regional growth.
Akash Manhas appealed to public representatives, civil society members, student organizations, and youth groups to unite in support of these demands to secure a stronger educational future for the Chanderbhaga region.
A memorable visit to Teetwal at the LoC in Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir during Navratras. I offered prayers at Sharda Temple, built by the Save Sharda Committee Kashmir led by Shri Ravinder Pandita, and performed rituals on the banks of the Kishanganga river. Also paid respects at Gurudwara Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. I commend these efforts to revive the ancient traditions and legacy of Sharda Peeth (PoJK).
