It most definitely was an intentional and strategic move to put the hardware guy in charge again. Apple was a volatile company under Steve Jobs. He knew a lot about products, but Tim Cook's leadership was necessary to refine the business and keep it afloat. Hopefully Ternus brings back some of Steve Jobs' product sense.
Precisely, that's why we need easier access to information and better public awareness regarding this matter. Despite some of the pros, it presents many flaws that must be accounted for.

Definitely an interesting concept considering we have different social media platforms today that do different things.
