HAPPY WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY! 🥳❤️

Huge thanks to our Missouri–Arkansas donors, you gave 180,000+ units of blood in the last year. Nearly 25,000 of you donated for the very first time.

Whether it was your first donation or your fiftieth, you helped save lives. 🩸✨

May is Trauma Awareness Month.
We can't predict when a trauma will happen, but your donation helps make sure hospitals have necessary blood products on hand the moment an injured patient arrives.

At the Red Cross, we never stop helping, and the numbers tell the story.

In April, we helped more than 270 families and nearly 800 total people in 172 zip codes who experienced house fires, tornadoes and storm damage.

When disaster strikes, we answer the call.

From the Missouri-Arkansas Region to the Pacific, our Red Cross volunteers have answered the call in Guam and Saipan. They left early, some waited through delays in Japan, and now they’re on the ground helping communities recover after Super Typhoon Sinlaku.

In the days ahead, they’ll be bringing shelter, food, comfort, and care to people facing an incredibly difficult time. We’re so proud of these volunteers for showing up when it matters most.
