@WileyTheKoyote You have to be the confident self that you want to be. Invite people in to share in your enthusiasm. That act of sharing what you love with others is how you inspire them.
All it takes is a simple spark of inspiration to start a fire. All you have to do is nurture it.
@ChristinaTasty With how the EULA and TOS of companies have changed over the years they've altered the agreement of the collective ownership of everyone's games. If you want proof of this thing just look at the auto industry where people's heated seats were disabled with firmware update.
@ChristinaTasty It's basically a repurposing of how games and executables have a signed digital signature. All it would take is an update to change the firmware where the console checks a database of allowed executables and discs before loading them. Basically using security features as DRM.
@AndrewGspeedrun People get refunds for not liking something as long as it is within the return window. It's not that weird. It's good for consumer protections to have these options. Taking away the refunds is anti-consumer and is more in favor of protecting corporations which need none of that.
@MagestrixRiley This mech is what got me into franchise. I started with MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat. Getting a hold of the Timber Wolf in the game was the moment when I felt cool for having the box art mech. After that I was hooked on the franchise. It really is a reliable mech.
@I__HATE_SOCCER Their existence is largely unnoticed by the FGC. When I play Guilty Gear or Blazeblue I end up leaving all the casuals behind. I took my knocks early on and got better. I wanted to improve and I struggled to get better. That's an experience a casual can't understand.
@thicc_stick_boi Probably one of my biggest pet peeves of the current state of the industry is how bloated games are in terms of file size and unnecessary visual effect implementation. All these game assets are so bulky or poorly implemented in a lot of bad performing titles.
@thicc_stick_boi It never had to be this bad. Data compression and clever tricks to save space were super common with older games. The advent of higher storage capacity and faster hardware made it unnecessary to optimize. Digital was inevitable with how it played out as a result.
@NayarElectro The camera work is still amateur to average at best. The framing and poses feel like a cheaply made animation or flat digital comic. The lighting and environments aren't enough to make the camera work interesting. They've had so long to find their style and just settled for mid.
@kuchibavibes Well, they did say "GACHA ANIMATION". Genshin just left the character part of the animation on the floor. Still using PNGs when they have a full 3D model they could do something with. Hell, let them do their ult animation or something at an interesting angle. Something.
@hasanthehun You're an intellectually dishonest individual that is ideologically captured into being nothing more than a joke of a person. You stand for nothing and your morals are whatever you feel will get people to look up to you or admire you. Pure vain pride and narcissism.
@my_Shorekeeper Genshin never learned to better itself at presenting it's story. Wuthering Waves learned to use the camera for better story telling. Using the visuals to convey things instead of having someone give us an exposition dump. I came back recently and Lahai-Roi was so well done.
@gaeon_0620 You can use shutdown override.
Your mech shuts down to avoid damaging your internals due to excess heat. Using override stops the override, but if you stay hot for too long the internal structure takes damage. Override can kill you if you stay hot for too long.
@lauriewired Are you daft? The reason games are run on physical hardware is to cut down on input latency. Even if the FPS is lower a lot of games have the framerate and input polling separated. If everything is remote then it means all inputs are sent on a delay, which feels awful to play.
@DuckieLouise You are the middle of the graph.
Change it to 1000 miles and you get:
60 = 16h 40m
70 = 14h 17m 9s
80 = 12h 30m
Why 1000 miles? Because if you generally drive faster all the time you end up saving more time overall. Diminishing returns doesn't change that more time is saved.
@gaeon_0620 The Centurion is a good medium mech. However, I always adjust the armor to have more of it on the front than on the back. It has good firepower and decent speed, but lacks armor if you're on longer missions. Taking targets out safely and quickly is important to last long enough.
@GrenadesW@VRChat Yeah, everyone that wants me to show my face to an AI database or see my ID can kiss my ass. All these ID verification places have been hacked and targeted by hackers. It makes no sense to do any of this and is a net-negative. Hell, it cost everyone more money in the end too!
