Finished reading Co-Intelligence by @emollick even though it came out two years ago (April 2024).
A few key points still hold up extremely well. Strongly recommend it for anyone who's not yet deeply familiar with LLMs and wants to understand their impact and use on daily work and home life.
Particularly liked the practical advice:
Taking LLMs into meetings
Using them as an additional point of reference
Going from there first using it for mundane tasks and then become more and more a cyborg.
The most important takeaway for me: Always be critical of the output. Never blindly follow everything the LLM says. On a sidenote a kinda well known study by MIT (https://t.co/Ec0Q2aHVfw) on "cognitive debt" shows that over-reliance on LLMs can reduce brain engagement, memory retention, and even your sense of ownership over your own work.
All in all would definietly recommend it every office worker not having touched llms or not using them yet as much as they could.

Verglichen mit Deutschland wird das schon ganz schön anders.
Annahme in Deutschland verdient man 90k nach Abzügen bleiben etwa 53-54000€.
In der Schweiz in Genf bleiben dir von 90k € etwa 82.444 CHF.
62184 CHF oder etwa 67882,73 €. Das ist noch nicht abzüglich der Krankenkasse..
Klar sind Lebenshaltungskosten anders aber echt erschreckend wie stark sich das unterscheidet..
Finally published my game Flowforge to #vibejam by @levelsio was a ride. There is plenty of room in prompts and 3d models that could've been improved. Just happy that I got it done. For the next year I will need to improve better prompting and knowing how to better tackle issues.
Overall I'm really happy about the competion and learning alot. Thanks for everything!
Compared to previous builds added some minor cosmetics to the starting screen. In the game added some changes to the hud and added a minimap.

Did quite some changes to flow forge added intro page, some small ending tab and overall game play feels smoother but definietly has alot of room for improvement. Will get that done in the coming days. for vibejam
Todays update at #vibejam of @levelsio
todays change is updating the start and finishing screen but still struggling with getting the playing map right. That is the focus for tomorrow. Also the name is not really fitting well currently but still some days left.
Missed posting the first days of @levelsio#vibejam but will finish the current game still struggling with improving the graphics but will get it done by May 1st.
The main idea of the game is a simple rouge like game currently where you upgrade your steamboat and try to survive as long as you can. Maybe that will shift. Glad for that intresting opportunity.
Next days will definietly mostly focused on updating the map and making the game faster in the beginning.
Using @cursor_ai with Composer2 and creating specs with codex. Currently using three.js and glb models just getting started and figuiering out things.
