BREAKING: A court in Kenya has ruled there is no right to kill babies in abortions!
The decision saw Kenya’s Court of Appeal declaring that abortion amounts to depriving an unborn child of life.
The three-judge bench overturned a 2022 High Court decision that had expanded access to abortion.
"Abortion is not a fundamental right guaranteed under the Constitution."
This is a MASSIVE pro-life victory that will protect babies and help women.
The Catholic Church has consistently taught that each human life, from the moment of conception until natural death, is sacred and deserves to be protected. Indeed, the right to life is the very foundation of every other human right. For this reason, only when a society safeguards the sanctity of human life will it flourish and prosper.
Lord Stevens, former CEO of NHS England, says defining AS as a treatment would be incoherent, and could undermine conscience protections:
“The professional duties on a doctor are potentially in play… It will give rise to questions of the obligations on a doctor to raise [AS].”
@DltaHspcSociety@ddhitchens I will not participate in facilitating the death of patients and I will not refer patients to others to facilitate their deaths, regardless of any potential personal consequences. For the record.

The Biased Broadcating Corporation: In times past, I have championed public broadcasting - especially BBC World Service. But not any more. Although I continue to admire individual BBC journalists, such as Lyse Doucet, I no longer trust BBC reporting. As for domestic issues, like millions of others, I have despaired of BBC bias on legislative and political issues - including its endless promotion of euthanasia. I have been shocked by the BBC’s failure to uphold ethical or political impartiality - with complete disregard for its Charter duty to do so. It remains to be seen whether its new Director-General, Matt Brittin, will address this - but he should not be surprised if traditional supporters of public broadcasting decline to support BBC demands for more public money. @lisanandy@BBC
She was elected to lead the Olympics as its first female president. Her first major decision: ban transgender women from women's events.
Kirsty Coventry, a two time Olympic gold medalist in swimming from Zimbabwe, became the first woman to lead the International Olympic Committee in its 132 year history when she was elected president in June 2025. One of her first major decisions was launching a review of female category protections in Olympic sport.
On March 26, 2026, the IOC Executive Board approved a 10 page policy banning transgender women from all female events at the Olympics starting with the 2028 Los Angeles Games. Eligibility is now limited to biological females verified by a one time SRY gene screening. Athletes who test negative are permanently eligible. The policy also restricts most athletes with differences in sex development, including two time Olympic champion Caster Semenya.
Coventry said the policy protects fairness, safety, and integrity, adding that "even the smallest margins can be the difference between victory and defeat."
