Equities were mixed in February, as fears over a bubble in AI investment weighed on tech stocks before the US and Isreal launched an attack on Iran over the weekend. While uncertainty reigns, our Three Dials allocation held steady.
Markets came out of the gates strong in 2026, surviving a bout of volatility to build on the gains from the previous year. The S&P 500 added +1.5% in January after returning +18% in 2025. π

Markets capped off an eventful 2025 with a relatively quiet month of December, as a lack of major headlines meant traders could start their holiday season early. The S&P 500 gained +0.1% for the month to end the year at a +17.9% gain. π

Equity markets survived a brief bout of volatility, driven by concerns over AI and inflation, to end the month slightly higher in November. The S&P 500 ticked up +0.3% for the month to bring the year-to-date gain on the blue-chip index to +17.8%. π
