Documentary: WNBR London 2026
This official documentary by WNBRLondon shows a marshal's eye view of the 2026 World Naked Bike Ride in London, held on Sunday 14th June 2026. It follows the Wellington Arch start group, from start to finish.
It was the first time WNBRLondon had ridden on a Sunday. Since 2004, the annual ride had been on a Saturday. In recent years, the Saturday had become increasingly busy with more traffic, events, road closures, diversions, crane operations, crowds, protests, counter-protests, police lockdowns, and, of course, the Trooping of the Colour. All volunteers agreed that moving to a Sunday led to a more pleasant, quieter ride.
Over 1,000 participants rode the nine routes from Clapham Junction, Croydon, Deptford, Hackney Wick, Kew Bridge, Regents Park, Tower Hill, Wellington Arch, and an accessible easy start option. It was a warm, mostly sunny day.
Cleaner environment, safer roads, healthier lifestyles, better attitudes!
The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists and is a protest against car culture. WNBR is a worldwide campaign with a number of linked themes.
Its objectives are to:
- protest against the global dependency on oil
- curb car culture
- obtain real rights for cyclists
- demonstrate the vulnerability of cyclists on city streets
- celebrate body freedom
