The Truth About Pitch Counts: Are You Risking Your Arm?
Traditional pitch counts are outdated. They treat every player the same—ignoring players arm strength, fatiguability and how well they recover. That’s a recipe for injury.
Individualized Pitch Counts change the game. Instead of guessing, we use real data to set daily limits based on your arm’s condition. Strength, fatigue, recovery—it all matters.

Northeastern Junior College has been one of our most impactful partnerships since bringing ArmCare to campus for a 2-day intensive accelerator. Since then, the results have been incredible:
- Back-to Back conference championships (2025 & 2026)
- School record for strikeouts (2026)
- Shattered the conference home run record with 124 home runs (2026)- (incorporated the CS TORQ system)
Huge shoutout to Head Coach @CoachKachel18 and his staff for their commitment to player development and their willingness to embrace innovation. We couldn't be happier for your success and are excited for another great season together!

My @ArmCarecom device just came in today!
Very excited to use this everyday to see how my arm reacts to my throwing days.
Moderate catch play today threw ~60 balls and incorporated a couple drills in my VeloU program. Overall arm felt great and ready to get a lift in later.
Below is my arm score from today

What’s Your Excuse for Skipping Arm Care?
Many players think that using light bands during their warm-up checks the box for completing arm care—and this is one of the biggest misconceptions in the game.
Yes, a proper warm-up is essential, but arm care that delivers results looks like strength training, not rehab with pink dumbbells.
Excited to welcome @HuskerBaseball to the ArmCare family!

On a personal note, this one means a lot. I was fortunate to be summer ball teammates with several players from Nebraska's back-to-back College World Series teams with the Beatrice Bruins—including Head Coach Will Bolt. Looking forward to working together. Go Big Red!

This kid has taken his @ArmCarecom SPEAR training unbelievably seriously following labrum surgery, really focused on the strength piece & stabilizing the shoulder joint. As we ramp up his workload to include some innings on the mound, I’m looking for him only to improve.

Injuries occur when stress overcomes the capacity of the joint or tissue. In pitching, increasing velocity increases the force applied to the shoulder and elbow regardless of mechanics.
The only way to combat the increase in force is to increase the size and strength of the tissue.
Muscles, tendons, and ligaments all respond to training by increasing thickness and resistance to tensile stress. As a result, when pitchers strength train, they can reduce mechanical stress. On the flip side, when muscles become weak and atrophy, stress increases due to less tissue area.
