Peter denied Christ. Paul persecuted Christians. Yet, the Lord chose both as his apostles and instruments in building the Church and spreading the Gospel. No matter our past sins and denials, the Lord never gives up on us. With his grace, it is never too late for us to change!
Hear our prayer, all-powerful God, and make our ears attentive to the voice of your Son, that our hearts may be generous in answering his call to take up his cross with trust in his promises. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Hear our prayer, O God, in your surpassing love, and renew our trust in your provident care, that we may take up your call to proclaim the good news and announce the nearness of your Son’s kingdom, Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesus, you offer yourself to us through the consecrated bread and wine; may we be transformed together and become one body for our world. #CorpusChristi

We celebrate the #memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, on the Monday following Pentecost Sunday. On this day, pray: Mother, help our faith! Teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus, that he may be light for our path. https://t.co/INZoVFrIjV
On Pentecost, we pray for the grace to live in the joy and strength of the Holy Spirit and to reflect in our lives “the fruit of the Spirit which is love, peace, patient endurance, kindness, generosity, faith, mildness and chastity.” Come, Holy Spirit! (Bishop Burbidge)
