Dear People of Telangana,

In the entire history of Public Service Commissions in India, we have never witnessed a CM involving himself so deeply in the affairs of a constitutional body—monitoring cases, making public statements, and closely following court proceedings related to a single recruitment process.

From the Group-1 prelims key issue to the GO-29 case and now the mains related dispute, the continuous and visible involvement of the CM raises serious questions.

Does Telangana have no other pressing issues that demand the Chief Minister’s attention?
Have we ever seen any CM from any other state publicly intervening in Public Service Commission matters?
Public Service Commissions are constitutional bodies meant to function independently, free from political influence. When the executive crosses that invisible constitutional line, it shakes public confidence in the system.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar rightly warned us:

“However good a Constitution may be, if those who are implementing it are not good, it will prove to be bad.”

Justice is not merely about written judgments—it must also appear to have been done. When everyone openly believes that the system is compromised, yet justice remains out of reach because evidence cannot be accessed or produced, the problem lies not with the aspirants, but with the system itself.

We are not against genuine candidates. We are against a failed system.

Group-1 is not just an examination—it is an emotion, a dream, and a responsibility to serve Telangana. Officers selected through questionable processes will shape the administration of this state for the next 30 years. Any compromise today will directly harm governance tomorrow.

This fight is not born out of jealousy or personal loss. It is about ensuring that Telangana is administered by officers selected through integrity, fairness, and constitutional morality, not through malafide practices.

Power may rest with the government today, but in a democracy, ultimate power lies with the people. History will judge the extent of involvement in this Group-1 process and its long-term impact on Telangana’s administration.

We will continue this fight through constitutional, legal, and democratic means, till the very last option available to us. We refuse to surrender the future of Telangana to a compromised system.

The interest you are showing in sending defamation notices — if only you had shown the same interest in answering the serious allegations raised by the Group-1 aspirants.

What can we expect from you TGPSC, when you aren’t even in a position to prepare a fresh Group-1 Mains paper and instead conducted the Mains with the one prepared in 2022?

What can we expect from you when you took down your own web note related to Group-1 Mains data and failed to publish complete mark details, including the medium in which the candidate wrote?

What can we expect from you when you trusted Wikipedia more than the textbooks published by the Government-run Telugu Academy?

What can we expect from you when you declared the 1:1 list for document verification without answering the questions raised by the Group-1 aspirants?

Most importantly, what can we expect from you when you issued new hall ticket numbers for the Mains exam — something no other public service commission, including UPSC, has ever done?

If you still believe in transparency and accountability, appoint a Judicial inquiry committee to investigate the allegations surrounding the Group-1 Mains.

Now is the time to rise above political lines and personal comfort. We request all political parties, print and electronic media, intellectuals and civil society organizations to support the voiceless Group-1 aspirants in their fight for justice.

The dream of Telangana's underprivileged youth, the Group-1 exam, has become a cruel nightmare. Betrayal by TGPSC through repeated cancellations and a deeply flawed process – from a faulty prelims key defended by Wikipedia to the devastating blow of a mains exam evaluated so poorly that handwriting seemed to matter more than their hard-earned knowledge. Their voices were ignored in court, pleas dismissed on technicalities while their own Telugu Academy was disregarded. GO29, meant for merit, has instead snatched away their rightful opportunities, with a shocking over 47% of posts now secured by the OC category, despite their smaller population. Their mother tongue, Telugu, faces neglect and bias in the very exam meant to uplift them. Even the courts, their last desperate hope, offered no solace. Their struggle for justice under GO55 continues, a heart-wrenching cry from the soul of a state born from fighting for the marginalized. Will Telangana finally hear their desperate, broken cries?
