ADVOCATING FOR CIVIL RIGHTS - WITH EMPHASIS ON THE SECOND AMENDMENT

[Firearms Policy Coalition @gunpolicy]

The judge calls out the anti-gunner tactic of asserting that an arm isn't in common use and then saying that every survey/report is flawed while refusing to say how many *they think* are possessed/sold:

FPC WIN: A federal judge has struck down New York's "first-of-its-kind" body armor ban, saying it violates the Second Amendment. https://t.co/GFDEC1clGe

I don’t like either candidate for Mayor of Los Angeles; and I hate to admit it but Karen Bass is the least objectionable candidate. This LA Times article finalized my decision. https://t.co/QVAQUiNYts

While this may be true for most average shooters; start pushing the distance out beyond 250 yards and the average shooter will notice the difference in rifles and ammo. I have had rifles that would shoot sub ½ MOA with the right ammo; other rifles, not a chance. And my custom 6.8 SPC II AR rifle with a 20" ARP 5R barrel, bolt, and Timney single stage trigger using factory 120 Gr Hornady 120 GR SST will shoot sub MOA. Handloads get even better.

@vancemurphy Not likely, the Governor was just on a new conference and praised the "community member who “heroically intervened to stop further loss of life”.

@adammocklerr I guess treating them well includes telling them that they can all leave early if they pose for a photo.

[ACAV @ArmedCommunity]

@MudDck85 @PolitiBunny I only have 300 rounds of .32 S&W, plenty of other calibers...

[ACAV @ArmedCommunity]

@PolitiBunny Ten, how about a 100, maybe 150, some people have more...

@lalovestrump Is everyone there on his payroll?

I do not have an issue with capital punishment for murder; most states do not have the will to carry it out; and if they do not have the will, the sentence for the convicted should be life in prison without the possibility of parole. Society demands punishment, but also, society deserves protection from these violent people; their victims did not get a second chance, neither should they.

That said, I do not have an issue with live broadcast of the execution; I do not believe that public hangings were a bad thing, hopefully they help to deter others from committing a criminal act that results in death.

But Nidal Malik Hasan is different, his motivation was not personal gain or revenge, it was an extreme religious ideology; his execution rather than deter others that share his views may inspire them.

A slow natural death, forgotten in a cell for the remainder or his years may be a greater punishment, and avoids him becoming a martyr to be revered by those with a similar ideology.

I am a little conflicted in this case, no doubt he deserves to die, but how is the question?

Just my thoughts…

@lalovestrump Fatburger is pretty good, I like their fat fries. They are a little pricey, but not too bad.

@KarenBassLA Bullshit

@News2ATeam I always thought Pershing Square, downtown Los Angeles, would be a perfect place for a gallows. Bring back public hangings.
