A Winchester 1897 just came in for an inspection. From a burnt stock to seized up parts, it’s safe to say it failed. We are going to take our time and go through the firearm piece by piece to say if we can bring it back to life.

If you carry for self defense, then your gun needs to be in proper working order. Your life—and those you need to protect—depend on it.
Cutting an extractor that’s causing ejection problems. This extractor has no tension or bite on the round so we need to adjust it.
Working on a @chiappafirearms Ridge in 45-70 that came in for bad feeding and jamming. After an inspection and some troubleshooting, this firearm is back in service.
Working on a trigger bar belonging to a @KelTecOfficial P11. The owner brought it into the shop after having trigger problems at the range. The bar now captivates the hammer, and after a little more file work it’s off to be test fired. #2A#pewpew#guns
A beautiful—but seized up— Prodigy. One of three seized up firearms that came into the shop this week. Once we get it opened and do our inspection, we will get it back into working order in no time.

We machined a new firing pin for an .22 LR Armi Jager AP-80. These guns are cool but notoriously difficult to find certain parts for. Once we check the pin’s protrusion we will make some small adjustments and off to range we go to test fire.

Beautiful Laugo Arms Alien Remus in the shop for a detailed cleaning. Too bad we weren’t able to take this one to the range. It would have been fun to shoot!
Even as a retired LEO, your service and off duty firearms continue to protect you and your family.
Let our gunsmith service your firearms and bring them back into safe and proper working condition.
Working on repairing a mucked up hand today. Luckily inspection showed the cylinder works and is timed correctly. Hopefully we don’t have to re-time the gun when we are done!
Springfield 1884 (trap door) in for a detailed inspection. Pretty darn cool gun with historic character. The stock is in good condition for its age (some oil in the wood where the ramrod sits.)
Women in NY, go get certified for conceal carry of the great equalizer. Protect our women!!!!! My sister started her certification today at this company. What a great instructor. @Armory1776
