You seriously can't make this stuff up! 3 top Labor ministers responsible for making the RULES for mining companies literally went to WORK directly for them just weeks after leaving government. If you can't call this bare faced flat out corruption, what can you call it? #Auspol

This behaviour indicates the level of contempt WIM Resource has for affected farm families, for respectful community engagement and for their well being. ARMR intends to write to the Planning Minister, Sonja Kilkenny, to express our disgust.
ARMR is disgusted with WIM Resource representatives reporting to individual farmers, affected by the Avonbank mine proposal, that the mine has been approved.

Uranium mining is banned in Vic, but a mine near Horsham will be able to ship a concentrate to the US to be processed into uranium.
It has sparked farmer protests, & @FoEAustralia is calling on @VicGovAu to block the exports.

This was felt from Echuca to Trentham. The earthquakes may increase over the next 10 years if Fosterville Gold Mine's EES is approved. Houses are cracking.

We may be seeing the end of the Gold Rash. Applications for gold exploration are few and far between now, compared to the previous four years when licences were being approved at a very high rate.
And not one application for a new gold mining licence.
Concerns extended to the underground aquifer, which was already under stress and over-allocated "The discussion's been very open, but a majority of the questions we pose, and concerns, seem to come back with an answer of, 'We don't know.'"
