The Supreme Court heard arguments today, October 8, 2024, at Williamstown Middle/High School in Wood County, WV. The arguments are part of the LAWS program, which exposes high school students to actual Supreme Court cases at a venue in their local community.

I’m so very sad to learn of the death of one of my favorite authors and one of our nation’s great historians, David McCullough. He brought history to life in so many outstanding works and it was a pleasure to meet him.
Today is the end of the January 2022 Term of the WV Supreme Court of Appeals. Over the summer, we will review cases, prepare for our September Term & complete implementation of the Intermediate Court of Appeals on July 1. Thank you for the honor of serving on your Supreme Court!
