@nonechuks@TKOShareHolder Aew is also just a less hot product ”outside of the bubble” than it was at that time. The “sickos” are a finite audience the company has already maximized
@GankutsuouC@cryy_me_a_river@TKOShareHolder then why can’t they sell that many now without him if his impact was so negligible?
clearly the company has cooled off without him regardless.
@Noahgilberto19 “So much damage” is an odd description for “the only era where AEW was a true commercial threat to WWE and actually felt like it could be the new #1 promotion”
@Podcast4corners theres nobody who’s got the ability to surpass them anymore. AEW plateaued as a commercially viable prospect in 2023 and has backslid ever since.
@Klixx21@itsBayleyWWE Mercedes isn’t a “dream match” she’s already had it several times and there’s no way she could possibly have a better one than the Brooklyn match.
@MikeGilbert311 not changing the date solves nothing tho you’re now in a venue that you have less time to sell tickets for in a city that is “all wrestled out”
@BackupHangman It’d get worse before it got better tho, you’d probably have so many injuries from the return of house shows that shows like the Rumble and MITB that require a lot of roster depth might have to be canceled
