The Honourable Artillery Company presented an immaculate Guard of Honour at the Guildhall for the arrival of the President of Germany for a Banquet hosted by the Lady Mayor of London. HRH The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence were guests at the glittering event.

All Foot Guards and Household Cavalry soldiers undertaking ceremonial guard duties will switch to Winter Guard Order today as the clocks go back an hour. The Foot Guards will wear the historic heavy woollen Great Coat; the Household Cavalry will wear warm wool Cloaks.

HRH The Duke of Kent was among 800 mourners who attended the funeral today of Field Marshal Lord Guthrie at Westminster Cathedral.
