[TRANS] An Army who received the ball, the hat and a hug from Taehyung shared a heartwarming post about her experience
“A Dodgers staff member was handing out baseballs to Taehyung and his team, and while I was watching, Taehyung himself came over and handed one to me. 🥹 I was over the moon and kept watching the game, when suddenly Taehyung turned to me and asked, “Are you Korean?” I said, “Yes. Actually, I’ve been an ARMY for 11 years now.” And then he said, “Ah that’s why I remembered your face” 😭💜
I told him, “I customized this cap with your name on it, would it be okay if I gave it to you as a gift?” He accepted it and looked so happy. I even captured that moment on video.Later while watching the game again, Taehyung called me over once more and gave me his own Dodgers cap that he had been wearing 😭💙. Then as he and his staff were leaving, he came back to thank me again for the hat. When I asked for a handshake, he not only shook my hand but pulled me in for a hug too 😭💜.Sorry this post is so long, but… I’ve been ARMY since the very beginning of BTS’s journey in the U.S. Back when they were just starting to be known, I was waking up at 3AM every Tuesday U.S. time to track their Billboard chart positions and post updates, all on my own, quietly and consistently, for years.
This whole experience feels like an encouragement for the long path I’ve walked as an ARMY, and I’m just so grateful. I’m still buzzing with excitement, but I want to put it down here clearly: I’ll be ARMY for life. To the ARMYs who filmed and celebrated this with me, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Taehyung-ah! Today’s first pitch was truly the best, and thank you for giving us an unforgettable memory. I’ll always be cheering for you. Borahae 💜”
