Nearly all of these have been done by founder Bernard Arnault.
It is now estimated that he owns nearly 50% of the company.
Wonder what he plans to do when he has majority...
If you own $CSU, you should be able to answer this question.
AI can now clone any niche software product for almost nothing. So why can't anyone touch their 70,000 vertical markets?
If you can't answer that, watch this.
This is a very superficial analysis. Your chart is on a linear axis, which hides growth-rate changes. Put M2 on a log scale (slope = growth rate) or just look at the rolling rates:
• 12-month M2 growth fell from ~171% in Dec-23 (Milei’s start) to ~58% by Jun-25.
• 6-month M2 growth dropped from ~107% (≈330% annualized) in Dec-23 to ~13% (≈28% annualized) recently.
That’s not “roughly the same rate”—it’s a dramatic deceleration that a linear chart masks because the level is so high.
Also, the monetary base (M0) has been kept broadly flat. The reason M2 is still rising (though much more slowly) is that bank credit and intermediation are finally restarting after years of being moribund—i.e., the money multiplier is recovering even as base money stays anchored.
CPI disinflation reflects more than output gains: it lines up with slower money growth, a steady base, and shifts in money demand/velocity under deregulation.
US pays 0% tariff is not true.
One big difference is that the EU members have a VAT where as there isn't one in the US. When US goods are imported into the EU, member states charge a VAT. Where as in the US, there isnt a federal VAT on imports, and state level sales taxes are also significantly lower in Europe.
Trump: "I could announce 50 to 100 deals right now because I'm the shopkeeper and I keep the store. I know what countries are looking for and I know what we're looking for and I can just set those terms and they can go shopping or they don't have to go shopping, because everybody wants to shop here."

By profit, jewelry is even more dominant at Richemont. Cartier (& to lesser extent Van Cleef & Piaget) accounts for 100% of profits. These brands & the huge opportunity in branded jewelry is what Arnault & LVMH openly covet. $CFRUY $LVMUY $HESAY

Charlie, individual shareholder.:
This is the 27th time l've attended the AGM. I'm very happy to be here. And I'm also an admirer of you, Mr. Arnault and your amazing entrepreneurial career that France should be proud of. And this leads me to my first question. What advice would you give to an entrepreneur? And what advice especially would you give on things not to do?
Bernard Arnault:
Well, advice, I mean, it's difficult to give advice a bit like stock market advice. When you give a tip, if it doesn't work, then people are disappointed.
So what I can say is that in business, l've always tried to follow a persistent attitude, even if people give you advice ... including my advice when people give you advice that often varied, not always useful to listen to that.
All of you here know that it's difficult to convince me to do something. And so for the time being, touch wood, it's worked rather well. So you need to have ideas and stick to those ideas, not really to listen too much to people's views.
