Getting a little influx of followers, so a few notes:
- We're currently working on a new, even better version of the website! It'll be awesome, we promise.
- Normally there is a suggest a character form. It is currently closed while we do the update, but it'll be back.
A quick note in this season to say that our form to suggest a character is currently closed! We're working on our backend to bring you an updated and much more robust database.
@asexuality@MirthfulMeg There's no way to "exclude" YA yet, but YA books *are* marked in the genre field so you can skip over them while you browse, at least, yes!
@AndreaReimer1 Huh, it's working on my computer! Try this one? https://t.co/Ii7j7MAClQ
It's going to a specific entry, but it'll let us know if the URL above is causing issue or if the whole thing seems down for you
@AndreaReimer1 It miiiight have crashed through traffic. ๐ I tested it right before tweeting and it was working fine both through morning and for a while after.
DATABASE UPDATE NEWS
๐ Added in ~10 new characters in our suggestions
๐ Updated existing entries with more information, new stories, etc.
๐ Moved to a new, more stable host (it'll help support our dark mode!)
๐ Made the mobile site more usable
@undertheteacup As a side note, too: we tried to catch them all in a recent flurry of revising our genre tags, but some may have been missed/mistagged, so it's always worth it to double check before you buy a book ^^;
@undertheteacup This also made me realize we may want to tag them as "YA" and "NA" instead. I prefered the longer versions, but programming search elements when all three names have 'adult' in it may become a problem ๐ถ
@undertheteacup We're working on that one. As of now, everything Young Adult and New Adult is tagged as such, but we don't have an easy way to exclude them from a search. So it's possibly for you to know which ones aren't adult fiction, but they're still *there*
