I may be new to the aromantic scene, but there's one thing I know for sure: there isn't enough positivity for aros! I'm going to do my best to make this a safe space to talk about being aro/demiromantic and proud of it! Talk to me about your experiences, let people know it's OK!
Just a reminder: TAAAP Pride Chats, focused on different #aro and #ace topics, will begin tomorrow with a discussion of #Pride! If you're interested, learn more and register at https://t.co/xEcpEIFzcB. Thanks! #asexual#aromantic 🏳️🌈
since pride month is coming up, here is a reminder that ALL aspec people are welcome at pride. yes this includes the cis, heteromantic aces, and cis heterosexual aros.
My heart goes out to everyone affected by recent events. I hope everyone is safe, and if you haven’t yet donated/signed petitions please consider helping if you are able. This ones recognized by the government. #BlackLivesMatter

Some people don't experience romantic attraction and that's ok. Aromantic people aren't cold, heartless, robots, don't need to meet the right person and don't need fixed. Romantic love is the not the only type of love.
We need to talk about Arophobia and what Aromantic people deal with. Aromantic people are told they need fixed, that they are cold, robots, that they just need to meet the right person.
and i just want to be clear, i do understand there’s an influx of aphobic kpop stands already hate, but maybe it’s because the community has grown considerable in past years. with a large volume of people there’s going to be a larger volume of bad ones in the mix
this is really harmful rhetoric and i hope more people can understand that a select few bad eggs doesn’t represent a community as a whole. there are people fighting to be seen in every community, including the kpop stan community
the thread does state that it can be applied to any dynamics between groups, but it seems unfair to directly attack people in your own community for simply.... being a fan of something
The administrator of a community forum, Arocalypse, will be stepping down on March 26th. If there is no one interested in taking over, the forum will shut down. We'd love to see it go on. If you are willing to help, reach out ASAP. Read more here: https://t.co/pOjJvl9CWx
