Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza is causing the spread of severe skin diseases and infections among Palestinian children due to the deliberate destruction of Gaza's sanitation and water sources.
The Israeli blockade has also prevented the entry of medicine into the devastated Strip during the past 10 months of relentless attacks.
Gaza's Health Ministry has warned that the Strip has become a polio epidemic zone, and if the situation is not addressed immediately, the disease could spread to neighboring countries.
"Throughout the war period, I was constantly thinking about my children, what if I saw them in one of the hospitals, what if I left them without saying goodbye," says journalist Wasam Yaseen.
Correspondent for Al-Hurra Channel, "a mother of three children", on the eve of the war, decided immediately to send her children to their grandfather's house, as she was always busy working around the clock, but her every thought was with them and her family. Her fear kept increasing with the escalation of events and the continuation of the war.
They too were very worried about me, especially after the targeting of journalists by the Israelis in the early days of the war. During the war, I lost many of my friends, neighbors, and relatives, to the point that I could no longer count their numbers.
"My friend Hala Ahmed, her husband and all their children," were martyred in the violent Israeli airstrikes that targeted the Al-Taj Tower, they remained buried under the rubble for many days after their martyrdom.
This family, who loved life, were inclined towards art, drawing and literature, among the journalists who passed away, I remember the diligent young man "Ahmad Badawi", he was kind-hearted, cheerful, cultured, very affectionate towards his mother, he was persistent in digging into the rock to improve his financial situation, but the Israeli occupation, with one airstrike, ended all of this. Ahmad was martyred near the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, in Deir Al-Balah. I am the journalist Wasam Yaseen.
“I did not expect this day to come when Reem departed, leaving behind only memories and photos. We would always say that separation between us was impossible. We were together in school, but our university specializations separated us, yet our relationship was not affected. We wished we could have been in the same field”
My friend and soulmate "Reem Badawi" has been with me for 6 years. She was a gentle, soft-hearted person with a beautiful soul, and had the ability to make every difficulty seem easy.
Reem and I were not just friends, but more like sisters. She was always advising me, and would lighten the burden of my days and their difficulties. She was a blessing, a special friend, full of positivity and energy.
She dedicated her energy to studying and work, and was always encouraging me to study as well. She was highly ambitious, a practical person, and irreplaceable. Reem loved photography, and we would document all the moments we shared together, always saying that these photos would remain as memories for us.
I met Reem before the start of the war on Gaza. We spent a beautiful day together, talking a lot and planning for the new university semester. She was advising me, as if she knew that would be our last day together. Our last conversation was her asking about my well-being and consoling me for the martyrdom of my family members.
But she quickly departed to heaven, leaving our memories to shatter my heart. Reem has departed from this world, but she has not departed from my heart.
Martyr Musk Firas Al-Shawa, my friend Musk, the guardian of the Book of Allah Almighty, was 15 years old. She was kind-hearted, calm, and excelled in her studies. Our friendship lasted for 9 years, as we were school and mosque friends. On October 24, the Israeli occupation targeted their house, claiming the lives of Musk, her parents, her sister Sondos, and her brother Ahmed. Every member of her family was martyred.
Since the moment I received the news of their martyrdom, I have been in shock, refusing to believe that my friend Musk is no longer here. Musk has become a beautiful memory for me. I will never forget you, my friend. We will meet again in Jannah, God willing.
Chappell Roan reveals she turned down offer to perform at the White House for Pride:
“In response to the White House who asked me to perform for Pride: we want liberty, justice and freedom for all. When you do that, that’s when I’ll come.”
What happened to "I'll listen to the experts"?
What happened to "We must defend the rule of law"?
What happened to the "rules-based international order"?

reiterating for americans who don't know, that the US never had any proper lockdowns and that people in many countries literally had limits on how many times they could leave their house per day, how long, and where they could go, and I'm talking about SPAIN not China.
