One of the biggest mistakes we make in the business world is to call ourselves managers.
Do you see yourself as a manager or a leader?
I have learned that focusing on my strengths makes me more successful. Focusing on my weakness depletes me of my good energy.

Today I am feeling grateful for the opportunity to roll out the Leadership Development Program @redstagfulfillment. I have been blessed to work with a great team.
Having the opportunity to build a great training department has provided with a great sense of fulfillment.

Room is starting to fill in. I love those moments before I hit the stage.
I am excited to be speaking at the Utah Public Charter Schools Association annual conference. And I love live events.
Are you balancing all that life has to throw at you?
We may be trying to be all things to all people, but this will only throw off our balance.
Setting clear priorities in our work life and personal life is the only way I have learned to achieve balance.
During the first three days of my fight with viral encephalitis I stared at the walls, could not recognize my own family and friends and had no emotional reaction to anything, except music.

Just finished reading “Killing Crazy Horse” by Bill O’reilly and Martin Duggard. The entire series of Killing books is incredible.

This experience taught me that I am not always strong enough physically, mentally or emotionally to handle all that life has to throw at me.
