@HCI_London Requesting some progress on my passport renewal application 26-2003570097. It hasn't moved forward from "under processing" for 3+ weeks now, and I have upcoming travel. Would really appreciate some progress and an ETA on when it can move forward please.

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

@vfsglobalcare case reference G-10999242. I have been unable to log in to my registered email for weeks now to book an appointment for passport renewal. Can you look at this case urgently and sort the issues at the backend please?

Hi @etihad - do I need a transit visa for AUH terminal A for my connecting flights booked on the same ticket?

Both flights are Etihad Airways, and the connection time is 3.5 hours.

We will stay airside (at best access the lounge), and don't plan to exit the termimal.

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

@BBCIndia @faye Update on this - the return flight was cancelled by Air India owing to the fresh round of maintainence checks on the 787-8 fleet.

Hi @airindia
The condition of my AI 153 (787-8) from Delhi to Vienna on 8/6.

I want to bring your attention to this. I am afraid to take my return flight on 21/6.

@TataCompanies @DGCAIndia I implore you to do thorough checks of the fleet before they are in the air again.

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

(2/2) I realize this is a very difficult time, but please pay attention to the existing fleet's maintainence (or lack thereof).

I don't care about the infotainment setup, or even toilets having issues - but this is inexcusable.

@BBCIndia @faye

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

We leave that to you Monsieur. That's your area of expertise.

Anti-CAA protestors should raise their voice against Pak's atrocities of the past, says Modi in Karnataka. Asks what stops them from protesting against Pakistan

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

And to come across people who have said to me the past month that it is "impossible" for anybody to have no documentation to prove their birthplace and ancestory.

Please step out of your privileged bubble and see for yourself.

[Soutik Biswas @soutikBBC]

Nobel laureates Esther Duflo and Abhijit Banerjee have spent their lives collecting survey data. They asked a 20 year-old village woman in India where she was born. Her answer tells you something about the minefield #NRC_CAA_NPR can easily become.

That is like a Douglas Adams book extract coming to life!

[Gaurav Sabnis @gauravsabnis]

What-is-the-solution-itis is a phrase I've come up for a collective malady in India. Maybe it's the result of engineers and doctors being the most revered professions here. We are in too much of a hurry to identify a "solution" even before we fully understand the problem. .....

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

@AltNews @zoo_bear @free_thinker Request a quick fact check if I heard it right and capture the extract from the interview before it is edited and removed.

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

In the ongoing interview, the Home Minister has just said NPR is not linked to NRC. Then he said if your name doesn't come in NPR, it doesn't render you a non-citizen. There is NRC for that. Doesn't that automatically link the 2? Why no follow-ups and a change of subject?

[Sreenivasan Jain @SreenivasanJain]

Extraordinary that the Home Minister would deny a link *that his own ministry has made* at least 8 times in Parliament. @OnReality_Check

This gets odder and odder. Govt official tells @BBCWorld to ignore what Home Minister has said for weeks and go by what PM said today. Don't they all work in tandem?

[Vikas Arora @AroraVikas20]

Also a hyphen.

[P @PBnrg]

When they sent out the format, why didn’t they put an apostrophe? That’s bothering me the most.
