The man goes overseas as a Marine, comes back whole and now has his daughter's Stage 4 cancer to fight. If you can, donate to the GoFundMe in the comments to help him and his family win this fight.
@MrColionNoir My history may be a little off, but they didnt use the M4 in Vietnam. If im correct it was M16A1. As a GWOT veteran who used the M4 platform the difference are miniscule when comparing semiauto capabilities such as bullet velocity and accuracy. Full auto gives M4 the edge easily.
@ImBreckWorsham Crazy im pretty sure 20 years a go when I turned 18 and first registered to vote I also signed up to be Drafted. Luckily I enlisted and served 8 years in active duty.
@Derrick19122289@Finalbossjimmy@MikeSington Yeah and im just clarifying that nothing was done because he was black as the original post was insinuating. He wasn't saluted because he was Enlisted
@MikeSington Hey since so many people have corrected you on U.S. Military customs in the comments are you going to retract this post or stick with the lie. We dont hate the media enough.
@GHOSTANGEL84@MikeSington So the Navy as well as the Marine Corps do not salute when uncovered, and wearing a cover on a flight line is not authorized. But everything else Facts.
@mr_frenchie69@Finalbossjimmy@MikeSington FYI, only the highest ranking officer needed to render a salute to the Secretary of War(highest position in the military under the POTUS) on behalf of the group so only one salute was required. Also they are Officers and the black service member is Enlisted.
@mr_frenchie69@evets2727@Finalbossjimmy@MikeSington Funny how you say that as the Black service member is the Enlisted Rank of E9. And Hegseth is the second highest position. In the military he would have received a salute from the E9. But also it is not customary for the Navy to salute when not wearing a cover.
@OchiJnr@Finalbossjimmy@MikeSington Correct, as no salute was rendered by the enlisted personnel to the second highest position of the US Military he would not have received a salute. But also he would not have rendered a salute as he was not wearing a cover and it is not customary to do so for the Navy
@Derrick19122289@Finalbossjimmy@MikeSington Military customs only required the highest ranking Officer to salute the SecWar second highest position in the US Military under the POTUS. But also the "black man" is a Senior Enlisted Rank of E9 Fleet Master Chief so he would render a salute first. Navy doesnt salute uncovered
@black_incubus@Finalbossjimmy@MikeSington Sailor, he is the U.S. Navy Fleet Master Chief one of the highest enlisted Rank in the Navy under the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON)
@onelerv@Finalbossjimmy@Mattapandiva@MikeSington Correct, customary would be that the highest ranking officer salute the SecWar on behalf of the group so really only one salute was needed. And even if the Master Chief was the highest person there he would not have saluted as the Navy does not Salute when not wearing a cover.
@lefty0220@huskerff@MikeSington Do you know U.S. Military customs and who renders a salute and who returns them? To help you out, the Enlisted Rank would render a salute to the Secretary of War and the SecWar would return it. But also the Navy does not salute when uncovered. The more you know.
@A_Northern_Will@huskerff@MikeSington To help you out on U.S. Military customs higher ranking officials do not render salutes to Enlisted personnel. The only Enlisted personnel to receive a salute are those that receive the Medal of Honor. Also The Navy does not salute uncovered.
@Annhasquestions@huskerff@MikeSington Correct he returned a salute to the officers that rendered a salute to him. The "black man" is the senior Enlisted of the Navy, a Master Chief and in is not customary for the Navy to Salute when uncovered hence why the SecWar did not return a salute to him but shook his hand
