Jayson Tatum said that when he was a little kid LeBron James didn't give him an autograph, which made him cry. LBJ: “Is that why you dunked on me in the conference finals?” 😂LeBron: “Is that why you dunked on me in the conference finals?” 😂😂😂
Fred Smith Jr 2”times Mr. basketball player of Tennessee was headed home today after the cleaning up his locker room for the last time taking all his basketball shoes home and pulled off the exit close to his house and saw a homeless man, with no shoes on,😲. Fred Jr bless him.
In a small market, it is bigger than basketball. They are more than just our heroes, they are part of the community here in Memphis. In bigger cities, superstars can hideaway, but not here. BC embraced that and will always be a Memphian. It means more here than other places. Hate on Memphis from afar all you want, but you won’t find a more caring basketball family.
15 forever.

NEWS: Memphis is involved with Arkansas transfer 6’4” G DJ Wagner, per source.
Given the inflated market + name value, he has/will get offers in the ballpark of $1.5 million (low end around $1.1 w/ high end being around $1.5+).
However, Wagner has already earned well over 7 figures at Arky + is primarily looking for a higher usage role for himself. Don’t expect money to be a deciding factor in this recruitment.
Wagner - a former 5⭐️ recruit with ties to Memphis - averaged 7.4 PPG and 2.4 AST on 43/35/72 shooting splits on a sweet 16 team.
LeBron made a comment on a YouTube video less than a week ago and now in a suite for the Grizzlies game with the mayor of Memphis
I’ve done a lot of crazy stuff but this is up there
Move the Grizzlies to Nashville?!
Not on the watch of @Meghan_Triplett!
MT has thoughts on recent comments from LeBron James during the latest edition of Just Being Frank.
Shoutout to Memphis: real soul, real people. Beale Street’s popping tonight-neon everywhere, blues blasting, folks laughing. @grok
LeBron can keep his takes; this city’s got heart and it’s thriving. Grizz fans? Some of the Loudest in the League. 🔥 #MemphisPride
My 2nd trip to Memphis is almost over and I’ve again really enjoyed my time here. So I felt the need to say something, especially after what LeBron said today.
This city often gets a very bad rep and I’ve experienced that myself. Players shitting on it, media saying it’s dangerous, people asking me why I’d go here because I wouldn’t be safe, I’ve heard it all. All those people couldn’t be more wrong.
This is a city very different from other “typical American cities”. Memphis has it’s own identity, an identity that makes it special. Memphis is a very warm and welcoming city. From the second my first trip started last year I’ve felt welcomed by the people. In the Fedexforum, on the streets, in the airport, in my hotel. My experiences have been nothing but positive. Not once have I felt unsafe or anything remotely close to it, not in my week long stay last year and also not in my almost 2 week long stay this year.
Now of course every city has its weaknesses and room for improvement. And that’s where I have to give a lot of credit to the mayor and the people who run this city. Even in the year between my trips there has been clear improvement. The streets are cleaner, there’s roadwork being done and downtown is noticeably more lively compared to last year.
Don’t let people who have never been here tell you what and how this city is. Memphis is a unique and beautiful city, Memphis is Memphis. I have truly loved my time here and I can’t wait to keep coming back in the future. But first one more game against Toronto tomorrow.
Place-based stigma, or neighborhood stigma, is a phenomenon where specific locations are labeled as undesirable, high-risk, or deprived, often leading to a REDUCTION in property values and creating opportunities for investors to PURCHASE LAND CHEAPLY. This stigma can be induced or reinforced by official labeling, such as police reports classifying areas as "vulnerable" or "disadvantaged," which can result in a 3.6% to 6.5% decrease in housing prices.
Memphis is experiencing an unprecedented surge in capital investment, with over $23.7 billion in regional projects announced recently, including major AI infrastructure, manufacturing expansions, and downtown redevelopment. The city is transforming into a tech and logistics hub, labeled "Digital Delta," drawing massive projects like xAI's "Colossus" supercomputer.
BUT "YALL" SAY THERE ISN'T AN AGENDA AGAINST MEMPHIS THAT'S BEING PERPETUATED AND PUSHED BY THESE @NBA PLAYERS!
